  I joined my two cats up here a few months ago and every appointment has been amazing. We signed up to the monthly plan which was quick and easy and takes care of everything for our cats. Helena is an amazing vet and explained everything clearly when getting our female cat spayed. Our cats are always taken great care of here, highly recommend!

  My partner's family have been at this vets for YEARS, so it felt right to place my two cats under this vets, and i've never been let down by them. Excellent communication, service, and all the staff are excellent. A very, very special thanks to Melodie who specifically helped my cat with a urinary blockage and phoned daily to check how he was doing post catheter and whilst admitted to the 24 hour service at Alfreton. 10/10, 5*, always accommodating and helpful.

  Very disappointed with my recent experience at Medivet. I brought my cat in for a skin irritation and was told it was not serious. I was offered a cream from the clinic for £80, which I explained I could not afford at that moment. I politely asked for a prescription so I could try to find it elsewhere at a lower cost and was willing to pay the prescription fee. Instead of helping, I felt dismissed and pressured to purchase directly from the clinic. The communication was poor, and I felt judged for not being able to afford their in-house treatment. As someone already paying monthly for their care plan, I expected more understanding and professionalism. Not first time Very disappointing experience at Medivet. I took my cat in for a routine vaccination and was told it would be done by a nurse because no vet was available. Shortly after the injection, my cat had a very unusual reaction which had never happened before. Two days later he started having seizure-like episodes. When I returned to explain my concerns, I felt dismissed and my worries were immediately denied instead of properly discussed. I was then presented with very expensive tests and possible surgery without clear explanations. My cat is still suffering from recurring episodes. Very upsetting experience.

  Always caring staff excellent service across the board , happy to take my old mini Yorkshire terrier confident no upselling or scare tactics good old customer service & genuine care for animals is why I use them 😊 thanks MEDIVET love from Gizmo 🐾🐾🫶🏻

  I recently took my cats to this veterinary clinic and I couldn’t be happier with the care they received. The staff and veterinarians are incredibly kind and attentive, and Melody was simply wonderful with our cat who had a nail issue. She made both our cat and us feel completely at ease. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate and professional care for their pets!
