THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS PLEASE READ Overall the people that work there are lovely, but Scarsdale couldn't care less about your pets as was shown to me today when I requested to leave the vets and have my both of my cats info sent elsewhere. They did not ask why, they just complied and sent me on my way. That says to me that they are not interested in me or my pets at all and the care that we have received. This has made me very glad that I have left these vets if thats how the go about this situation, not even a simple question that could have helped them provide better care. The people that work there are lovely...when there's people there. I have left for multiple reasons but a couple of big ones are leaving a consultation having spent almost £100 for a vet to shrug their shoulders and say they don't know and give me some eye drops that are made for humans that could possibly help but unsure. I called to book an appointment for some booster jabs but I was not able to get one for atleast a month due to there often not being a vet onside. So basically its a glorified pet shop that often closes early anyway. Edit: As I cant respond I've decided to edit my review. I did attempt to talk to you about this, however I was brushed off. I also was not asked for the reason why I was unhappy with the vets when I said I was leaving due to bad treatment and overall dissatifaction with your vets. I had to ask them to let me tell them what was the problem and to pass it on to the correct person. I also called later to ask where I could send feedback and was told 'I don't know but I can pass it on' which I assume was not done.

Really friendly practice with pets interest at heart. The only problem is they sometimes close early or don't open at all as vet is pulled to another practice.

Very nice staff, vet and receptionist. However attempt to charge me 3x the quoted price for a health check. Part of the national scandal that is vet practice upselling. Staff realised their error and charged the original quoted price having tried to tell me after the fact that I’d had a medication review or that I’d seen a vet rather than a nurse (neither if these mentioned before or during the consultation as factors). I’m also not sure what a ‘health check’ entails as not mentioned when booking and seems to merely get you into the practice to sell you other services. It’s quite socially awkward not to pay on the spot and it did take 5 minutes and a lot of pointing out the flaws in their reasoning for a trebled bill. I’d suggest you stick to your guns when confronted by upselling and hidden costs. I’ve fed this back to Scarsdale also who invited me via their automated form to leave a review here.

I would love to give this a 5* review as staff are friendly and other Scarsdale branches are great but this one not so much. I've removed 2* for the following reasons: 👉🏼 8/10 times I've visited this branch I've been greeted with a note on the door that either says closed for lunch or closing early due to short staffed. Though I must say when the staff are in they can't be fualted at all, absolutely fantastic whether it's a vet, nurse, or receptionist they're all very friendly and helpful. 👉🏼 As a cat owner it would be great to have a cat tree with Feliway towels in the branch like you have in Stapenhill and Pride park. In such a small branch when dogs enter they're in such close proximity to the cats causing additional stress, especially to my timid cat but even my confident cat gets afraid when dogs come in too. It would just be nice to have a way to help reduce their stress by allowing them to be a "safe" distance and up high out the way of the bigger and occasionally noisy dogs.

Amazing. Took our cat to be spayed. Well Delilah couldn't of been in more caring hands. Dropped her off everything about the procedure was fully explained and then post op check up you all showered her with love again. Thank you to the whole team.
