We had an emergency on the night of 23rd May '25 with our puppy IG. The nurse on reception couldn't have been more friendly, helpful or accommodating. The vet was also very kind and understanding, especially when explaining treatment options and potential costs. There was no pressure selling of the more expensive options. The final costs were fair and reasonable, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back if we needed out of hours care in the future.

Staff were compassionate and professional answered all my tricky questions. Hideously expensive £800 deposit paid for an operation that couldn't happen in the end but the vet gave me the time to come and say goodbye to my bunny even at the late hr of 1am. I was then charged £65* for euthenasia 😱 My suggestion people is investigate INSURANCE for your pets

Had a great experience here! My dog had two emergencies over the past weekend (Friday at midnight and Sunday morning). The staff were incredible both times. Everyone was patient and helpful when helping my dog and they were great in keeping me informed as well as answering questions. The pricing was reasonable and fair especially considering the out of hours fees. The final cost for the operation my dog needed wasn’t too much higher than the estimate from my regular vet for the same operation. 100% trust them to take of any pet emergencies in the future (but hoping there aren’t anymore of them)!

We recently rescued our dog and hadn't registered with a vet yet. When the neighbour's dog unexpectedly jumped over the fence and attacked him, we took him here as it was the nearest one to us that was open. The first time I called, they answered the phone and hung up. Second time I spoke to someone who was lovely, hence the 2 stars for good service on the phone. After a couple of hours they called and said I had 2 options, the first of which was a £748 surgical exploration of a bite on his leg, which by the vet's own admission, wasn't causing much discomfort as he was still walking and in good spirits. They were of course keen for me to take this option. No price given for other option, which so happened to be £600 less! We went for the second option. When dog got home he was STILL DRIPPING BLOOD. They had literally washed the wounds, put 3 staples (like staples from an office) in his leg and left him. I am absolutely appalled and disgusted they would let an injured dog leave their care while still actively bleeding from an open wound! Almost like 'oh well you didn't pay the £748 so we dont care anymore go away'. If he gets infections I will be taking this further and will certainly not be taking him back here!
