I came to this clinic thinking it was good. Dr. Daniel Bitea is simply an unscrupulous man!!!! I will pay for it if he doesn't solve this for my dog willingly! I came to him on the 23rd, telling the gentleman that my dog walks very hard with his back legs, I explained that I don't know exactly what it is and he simply just gave him a kind of massage and said that it was nothing that it was from the perianal glands. I told him that his vaccine schedule was just done and that after he recovers, if we start it again and he said that we can do the first one now! He gave me a syrup, I repeated to him that my dog has a 100% back problem because his back legs were not 100% stable but somewhere at 70%. he said convinced that this is what it is. he vaccinated our dog (WHICH THE NEW VETERINARY TOLD ME IS NOT NORMAL as long as the dog is in pain elsewhere because he had an adverse reaction!!!!) BECAUSE OF THIS UNSCRUBLED MAN.. my dog started having allergies from his vaccine and his carelessness is causing problems!!!!! MY DOG IS NOT DOING WELL ANYMORE. HE HAS A BROKEN BLOOD VESSEL IN HIS RIGHT EYE AND HIS VISION IS LOST!!!!!! I WILL NOT LEAVE IT LIKE THIS IF THIS DOES NOT SOLVE IT SO THAT MY DOG CAN STILL BE SAVED!!!!!!! IT COSTS £4,500 HERE WHICH I DON'T HAVE + MANY OTHER TREATMENTS! THIS EITHER SOLVES MY DOG, OR EVERYTHING WILL BE LEGAL!!!!!!! MY DOG HAS A CRISIS OF WALKING, HE CAN'T SEE ANYMORE, HE CAN'T WALK EVEN 60% WELL!!!!!!!!! SOLVE MY DOG AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OTHERWISE IT WILL BE RESOLVED OTHERWISE!!

Read on Google →I’m leaving this review because our experience at this medivet branch was quite bad overall, and for the price one pays for vet visits, treatments, prescriptions, etc - it's pretty unacceptable. We recently moved to the area and booked a first consultation for one of our ferrets, with the intention of bringing the other two afterwards. The plan was to discuss flea treatment and have an implant fitted. One week before the appointment: We booked the consultation and implant fitting. No one mentioned any stock issues whatsoever. Day of the appointment: The clinic phoned to say the implant wasn’t in stock, despite the booking being made a week earlier. When I asked which strength they were ordering, I was told they didn’t have the 9.4mg and that it was the “only effective” option for ferrets - this is not accurate - most exotic vets recommend the 4.7mg implant for ferrets, and it is widely used. Only after I specifically asked did they admit they had the 4.7mg in stock, but they continued to push the more expensive 9.4mg option and insisted - over and over - the 4.7mg “might not work,” even though both my previous vet, another 2 vets, and an exotic‑vet friend of mine advised the opposite. It felt like they were trying to upsell the pricier implant rather than give accurate information. At the appointment, the vet barely examined him, fitted the implant, and rushed through the consultation. I then raised the flea issue, explained that all three ferrets needed treating and that one of them is very small. The vet told me to give the same product to all three and simply “give the small one less" - they also prescribed a flea treatment that turned out to be out of stock uk‑wide. A few days later: I phoned to change the prescription. The receptionist told me to “google a product” and they would prescribe whatever I found. This is not acceptable. It is the vet’s legal and professional responsibility to select an appropriate medication, check species and weight suitability, confirm availability, and ensure the product is safe. Passing that responsibility onto the owner is a failure of duty of care. I stupidly did follow their instruction and told them the product. After administering the treatment to two ferrets: I noticed the packaging stated it should not be used on ferrets under 800g, which our third ferret is - luckily he was the last one. A quick search showed it could be fatal for him as one of the ingredients is known to be toxic for ferrets of his weight. Next business day (monday): I called again to explain the situation. The receptionist told me they couldn’t prescribe anything because the small ferret hadn’t been examined, despite the fact that they had already advised me to treat all three. I mentioned the vet did not have a problem with it before, so I didn't understand what the issue was. She said she would speak to the vet and call back, but never did - how professional of them... So here are a few failures in basic veterinary standards: -Failing to provide accurate information about medication options, -Failing to check product availability before prescribing, -Advising me to adjust dosing myself, -Instructing me to search for my own prescription, -And failing to ensure the safety of the medication they told me to use. These are basic professional responsibilities, and none of them were handled correctly. We’ll be looking for a different practice, as this one has shown itself to be incompetent at best.
Read on Google →I cannot thank this vets practice enough for seeing our 14 year old dog so quickly after he suffered a huge seizure in Trentham Gardens,we were 35 miles away from home. We phoned the practice and Daniel talked us through what to do and we managed to get our dog back to the car and make our way there where we were seen by Daniel as soon as we arrived. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service we received was excellent and helped to calm and reassure us at the most worrying time.Thankfully our dog is ok now and doing well.
Read on Google →Well I can honestly say I wouldn’t recommend this vet surgery to anyone after my most recent experience, I took my dog to see the main vet, and described his symptoms, and the vet was very dismissive, even when I made the suggestion about his condition possibly being related to his kidneys, and because he was on a heart medication that could cause kidney damage, he dismissed me without even feeling his body or suggesting any sort of blood test…..I was given antibiotics and sent on my way…. A day a half later I had to rush my baby to the emergency vets because he was even worse and clearly in pain, they immediately suggested a blood test, which showed late stage kidney failure… the toxins were that high in his blood that there was not much they could do, we had to make the awful decision to let him go…. I’m so angry that a blood test wasn’t suggested when we brought him here, it could have saved him a couple of days of unnecessary pain….this used to be a brilliant vets, but since the older vet left it’s definitely not great….They need to get rid of the lead vet at this particular branch, because he comes across as extremely cold, uncaring and very dismissive…… awful….. I would not recommend this practice….
