Excellent unrushed professional service. Kate Green made us very comfortable and was very caring with our grumpy 18 year old cat.

I am very disappointed in the service me and my very poorly pooch received. Sunday he was rushed to the emergency vets due to him collapsing and having irregular breathing and when arrived were told his heart rate was fluctuating and had AHDS... we were told once he was stabilised the following morning to take him straight to our vets (Vets4Pets Goldenhill) to continue treatment. When arriving we informed the 2 receptionists of his condition and what we were informed to do by the emergency vets, an email was also sent to themselves by the emergency vets to inform them of our arrival. Not only were they quite dismissive of us, it turns out there was no vet on site to see to my Milo, after waiting 40 minutes we asked if they knew when the vet would arrive, to which they replied "We are not sure". When eventually the vet came waltzing through the door and we were invited in, there was 1. no apology and 2. no check over of my dog who had been slouched on the floor for way over an hour. When the vet decided to quickly glance over the notes provided by our emergency vet, they were trying to push for an addison's test, we agreed however requested that it be paid direct with insurance and were then told they allow direct payments with every insurer apart from the insurance company we were with (very strange) when we were informed that for him to be re-hospitalised for the rest of the day and pick Milo up in the evening it would be £158, as-well as £250 for an Addison's test. We let the vet know that we can not afford that, we were then told that we can just pay the hospital fee and that he probably didn't need an Addison's test due to there being no signs of that in his THREE previous blood tests taken at the emergency vets- it was all very unprofessional, there was no check up to see how milo was fairing and to add it on trying to push for tests that seemingly weren't needed after actually looking at his blood results. When picking him up after the whole ordeal in the morning, the veterinary nurse was again very nonchalant said he was okay, and had to ask her several questions to get a picture of how he'd faired throughout the day which were very limited replies. I feel after this experience there is no true care for these animals, i understand that people go to work to earn money, but the way this was all handled was really disappointing. Therefore we have moved vets and will no longer be returning, i hope the staff can reflect and improve.

Went to the vets this morning with my cat who has an abscess in his mouth. Originally booked for Monday but he was worse this morning so they let me go this morning instead. The vet was lovely, he answered any questions I had and explained what the situation was. The cat had an antibiotic injection and some medication for a week. He gave me the prices for neutering and I will arrange that later. Friends recommend the practice to me. I didn't want to use the vets when I had dogs a few years ago. Very happy today, the receptionist was lovely and helpful. 10 out of 10.

Thank you so much for caring for my yorkie Poppy until she passed away in June, the care you had shown her over the years was brilliant. Thank you for the sympathy card which I will treasure along with her ashes. 10 out of 10 service.

It's my first time visiting this vets and what a refreshing change. All the staff are really friendly and made a big fuss of my dog. The vet took time to explain my dogs problem and didn't push unnecessary drugs on him. The surgery is bright, clean and very welcoming. My dog even featured on the Facebook page. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this vets practice. They were also very reasonably priced. Overall definitely 5 stars.
