Unfortunately not a good experience with this vets. I was recommend this vets when looking to get my girl spayed. All together had 3 pre ops in just over 6 months and was no closer to her being spayed due to being misinformed. I was then told she needed a medication, and asked to pay there. I was told we had to order it in but we could pay there and use a third party company to receive it. Paid at the vets and then attempted to order it in but needed to pay a further £100. When I contacted the vets to ask why this is, it was because we had only paid for the prescription to be issued, again not informed about this and was lead to believe we had paid the amount needed at the vets. We have now moved vets in hope we can actually get her sorted. Complete lack of communication which made me loose all faith that they could care for my dog. Would not recommend to others.

We’ve been to Friarswood for a quite a few years. They took care of all of our cats neutering and did a great job. Last week we had to say goodbye to our dog. Such a difficult time, but we received the best care. Our vet was kind, caring and compassionate throughout. Even our exit from the building was a consideration they cared about. Bill to be forwarded at a later date, but a week after we received this lovely card in the mail with condolences and some seeds for the dogs grave.

Early days but having been with our previous vets for over 15 years with different dogs we had a great first visit with FW, the front of house are lovely and knowledgeable. We left our last vets due to the recent inconsistency in staff, care and some of the vets being nervous around our dog (scary staffy cross 🙄) even asking on the first meeting to muzzle her just to examine her! Arran had never met our dog but was calm and attentive, he even sat on the floor to check her over and chat to her - and left uninjured! Imagine 😂 We all left happy with the care and advice given. Thank you for restoring our faith in vets.

Our 9 week old kitten Pudding has his first visit to the Vets yesterday for a health check and first vaccination. The reception was warm and friendly and the receptionist checked us in promptly. We were offered a cat carrier to borrow (ours unfortunately did not get delivered in time). We waited less than five minutes to be called in to the clinic room where again we were greeted by a very friendly vet. Pudding seemed to be at ease straight away and the vet was very kind and gentle while Pudding had his health check, nail clipping and first vaccination. We were given some advice and a vaccination card. The vet explained everything she was doing, and the outcome such as a healthy heart, clear lungs, eyes, ears and nose. We were shown back into the reception and set up on a kitten plan which in my opinion is competitively priced and covers all the essentials. We were able to book in with ease for Puddings next appointment. Overall we are very happy with the service and although price does not come into it, it is nice to be able to take advantage of an affordable pet plan.
