My partner took our second cat for vaccines with vets4pets and during the consultation the vet offered flea treatment. My partner declined as we have some at home and don’t need it to which the vets said ‘you may aswell take it as it’s included’ so my partner took it and was charged £25 for it. On realising this tried to return it and was denied. The receptionist was rude and infantilising. The next day I emailed the practice manager to complain about this and they said it’s unusual for them to sell flea treatment as it’s much cheaper OTC (£10) and so this didn’t happen and must’ve been miscommunication. They had no interest in checking cctv to verify events. No effort to resolve the issue and pretty much pushed us out of the door when we said we would have to change practices due to a break down in trust. It seems they don’t care to maintain clients and care more about grabbing money wherever they can. My first cat is highly energetic and the practice also wasn’t equipped to deal with this. They couldn’t complete the health check and couldn’t get all of the vaccine in either due to movement so I would just be cautious if you have a high energy animal taking them here. We used quarry vets to neuter our first cat and the experience was so much smoother and nicer! We were involved in all decisions and got break downs of prices on the invoice which was discussed with the vet who did the op.

Having taken my two dogs to Michelle (Vet) for a few years now, I am struck by the fantastic level of care my girls receive every time they see her. Michelle is a wonderful vet and I cannot recommend her highly enough! I must also mention Dawn, on Reception. She is an asset to the practice as she never fails to make you feel welcome. She always makes our visits an enjoyable experience. She is warm, friendly and genuine; making us feel like valued customers. She always greets you with a smile and never rushes you! Thank you for taking such good care of my girls! 😃 x

I have a monthly standing order for each of my cats, which includes jabs and flea/tick treatment. I called this morning for their prescription and it was available within a few hours. Excellent service from all involved thank you.

Due to Rocco’s heart condition and the increased seizures that we still do not have a definitive answer we’re limiting the amount of effort for our eight year old chihuahua and trying to make him as comfortable as possible. After all our visits and costly investigations done by Vets4Pets/Torquay branch we’re inclined to believe towards the surgery been more interested in to the financial gains rather than understanding our pet situation. He is limited and just a short walk can trigger a new cluster of seizures, our doctor is not willing to discuss the matter on the phone offering advice and now Vets4Pets not willing to continue the agreed treatment and provide Rocco’s heart medication. Further more for us to seek another vet for our little baby …unacceptable!
