A routine check found a large mass in my cat's abdomen. Tests done within days revealed it's location near a kidney but looking as if it might me removable. He's a 16yr-old otherwise healthy boy and vets (and insurers) agreed. Carlo, who did the surgery, was brilliant, explained the risks and we all thought Felix deserved the chance. Surgery turned out to be complex due to the lump having attached itself to the kidney, which couldn't be saved, but also in a very delicate area. However Felix came thru with flying colours, is coping incredibly well on one kidney and a renal diet and is a different cat now he's not got a 167g tumour draining him. My heartfelt thanks go to Carlo for a tremendous surgical job and also to all QH staff for their concern for Felix's comfort and welfare (and mine!). Long may he continue to flourish.

Yet again I needed the expertise of Marcus and his amazing team , my three and a half month old gsd puppy fractured her back leg . Being so young she was not the most helpful of patients regularly chewing at her bandages , but the whole team were very patient with her . Can’t say it’s been an easy recovery with her but the whole staff were absolutely brilliant 😀 five stars . Again many many thanks to you all , Chris and wraith x

As ever the calmest and most efficient visit to Quarry House Vets for Aksel and Biscuit. Carlo and Ali were kind and professional at all times. Quite why Aksel decided that the sink was the best place to wait must remain a mystery.
