I am very satisfied with the service at Medivet. The communication was excellent and I received detailed, clear answers to all my questions. The staff were extremely kind, professional and helpful. After my pet’s neutering, I was given all the necessary information and felt well supported throughout the process. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for caring and reliable veterinary care.

Very happy with the care given to my dog. I was very nervous about her being spayed but Medivet put my mind at ease by explaining the process. She underwent the operation and was back to her normal self in 24 hours. I am very impressed by the neatness and speed of healing. Medivet kept me up to date with the procedure and post surgery, they were very happy to answer further questions about the recovery. Would definitely recommend to other dog owners.

Two weeks ago, my mum’s cat George – who had been mine since I was a teenager, and who had reached the grand age of 20 – suddenly went downhill very quickly. Although George was registered with another practice in Teignmouth, they couldn’t offer us an appointment and instead suggested I travel to their other branch, which was over an hour’s drive away. That just wasn’t in George’s best interests. I rang my own vets, Medivet in Torquay, and they were absolutely wonderful. Within half an hour they gave me an appointment and welcomed George with such kindness and compassion. The team guided us gently through the heartbreaking process of saying goodbye, making it as peaceful and dignified as possible for George. Their prices were very reasonable, but more importantly, their care and compassion shone through at every step. Today I received George’s ashes back in a beautiful sunflower pot. It felt quite uncanny, as he always used to love sitting in the sunflower pots in my mum’s garden – so it just felt like the perfect and most meaningful thing to receive today. Although George wasn’t even registered with them, Medivet Torquay went above and beyond for us. I honestly can’t thank them enough or recommend them more highly for the care, empathy, and respect they showed in such a difficult moment.
