The nurse helped with my dog today as her nails needed cutting and it was something that I couldn’t do alone. As I have a plan with the vets, there was no charge for me to see the nurse today, which was very welcomed!

Excellent help today to signpost me for a rescue for an injured wild animal. Very caring and helpful. Thanks so much! Have been registered with them for my pets for over 14 years now and can't speak highly enough of them!!!

I can’t begin to explain how wonderful the staff were at this Vets after my cat had emergency surgery last month. It was an incredibly stressful situation for both Lulu and myself, but the reception staff + vets were so supportive during and after her surgery, even checking up on her daily. I’m so grateful for them and want to especially thank Becky for her continued support after Lulu’s surgery. Thank you so much!

If I could give zero stars I would. We went with this vets initially as the reviews looked great and we lived locally but it has been a total waste of time. We advised them as we joined she was potentially a cat flu carrier as we were advised by the rescue centre. At first visit we were told to wait in the dog area and not the cat area to prevent spread. The 2nd time we were told to sit in the cat area. 3rd time we sat in the cat area and the Vet had a go at reception as were supposed to be sat in the Dog area. Last visit they told us to wait in the cat area. No set rules as everyone said different things and is one of the reasons for no trust in them. Our cat had been to the vets 3 times in the space of a couple of months for the same issue. We repeatedly went back as she had blood in her stool. The 3 different vets told us 3 different things and told us to not be alarmed as blood in poo can be normal by one vet. I was then told by another vet our cat wasn’t on a premium enough food yet the food we provided her was listed in the Pets at home stores as premium… the irony. Even if blood in the stool is supposedly normal there was no initial talk of running a test or doing further tests to see what the problem was. The last time we went it was for a second opinion and it was by the owner. He advised after touching her stomach within the first 5 minutes of being there that she was inflamed all the way through. Why this wasn’t picked up previously Im baffled by when she had all the same symptoms from February. He then did advise we can do a fecal sample to see what the issue is but could be IBD. We agreed and he said roughly off the top of his head the price would be around £150 which we were ok with. We were happy we were finally getting somewhere after months of issues. After 5 days of collecting stools we dropped it in to reception. Which brings me to the next point of out of the multiple times we had spoken to reception their attitude is horrendous. It seems like it’s an issue that you’re making them work. Anyway she advised are you aware of the cost I said “yeah we were told around £150” I then asked do we pay now or when the sample is back. She advised a payment link would be sent to us after. The day after dropping the sample in I had a call to advise us that the actual cost was actually over £400 and that £150 was a deposit. After being shocked by this and saying “ oh. “Swearword” ” the receptionist thought it would be great to say “quite literally” and laughed. Which in fact I don’t find that funny. If one of us had heard the price wrong then fair enough but it was me and my partner which heard the exact same price. We are fully prepared to pay as much we need for our cat to feel better but not to a company that has broken trust multiple times. It’s not the price that has lead me to writing this review but it’s the lack of care from the beginning, being misinformed and quite frankly I have never dealt with an absolute mess of veterinary practice. I would highly NOT recommend this vets.
