Such a lovely veterinary centre. The place is very eye-pleasing and has a calm, relaxing feel, almost like a country resort vibe, which really helps when you’re already anxious about your pet. The staff are extremely friendly, kind, and professional. They made us feel welcomed and reassured, and you can tell they genuinely care about the animals. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the waiting time, which can be quite long. I completely understand that emergency cases must be prioritised (and I appreciate that they do that), but it would really help if they could implement a better system so customers aren’t left waiting for hours. It’s difficult for pets to be stuck in an unfamiliar place for so long too. Other than that, I fully recommend this centre for their service, care, and professionalism.
Read on Google →We were faced with the heartbreaking decision no pet owner ever wants to make after our dog Luigi was diagnosed with cancer by Dr Thomas during an emergency night visit. Sadly, despite medication, Luigi didn’t improve, and the following evening we returned to the surgery to prevent him from suffering. It was our first time meeting Dr Thomas, and he is an absolute credit to the team. His compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for animals were clear from the start. He stayed with us during Luigi’s final moments and explained everything so gently, especially with our children present, which meant so much to us as parents. We are completely heartbroken and missing Luigi terribly, but we will be forever grateful to Bramble and Bear, and especially Dr Thomas, for the kindness and care shown to our family.
Read on Google →Moved my dog to bramble and bear one to two years ago and her first visit of doing a health check, she was nervous. Hannah made her feel safe and let the check go at a pace that shade was comfortable with. When it come to shade having her teeth removed, I voiced my concerns as I had nearly lost shade to a previous surgery at a different vets, and they were amazing, they kept me updated, had someone checking on her as much as they could and took really good care of her and even gave her lots of snuggles and care whilst waiting for her to be picked up. She has only recently just gone back for a full old lady check up, which my appointment needed to be moved due to an emergency and because I couldn’t come back to make that time, they offered having shade in and keeping her till I couldn’t get her which they did the full health check and spoilt shade with treats and food. Once picking her they explained everything I needed to know, answered all questions. They have always shown the best care for my little lady and not once have a I ever worried about having to leave her there as they treat their fur patients like they would their own pets. I can not recommend them enough! I’m so glad I made the swap from my last vets to bramble and bear enough! Thank you for always giving the best care to my shadey and making me feel better about any worries I have! You guys are truly amazing and you do everything you can for the vets!!
Read on Google →I cannot recommend Bramble and Bear enough! When our 17 year old cat Bella had to be put to sleep, Hannah and Anna came to the house and the compassion and love they showed us all was beautiful and Bella went to sleep with care and dignity. When we decided to have our dog Rose, it was a no brainer to register her with B&B even though they are a half an hour drive away from us. We know the care they give to each animal is second to none. The fact that the consultation room doesn’t have the standard clinical table is amazing, Hannah and Matt get onto the floor with the animals giving them all the hugs and fusses to make them feel at ease, taking away the stress. To top it off they are also one of the most reasonably priced vets practices in the area!
Read on Google →I’d give 10 stars if I could. Bramble and Bear is the best vets I’ve ever been to. The care all the staff show for animal patients and their humans is exceptional so I gladly drive 30 minutes whenever my boy needs to be seen. He gets very excited when we arrive and absolutely adores Dr Hannah. I’m grateful to have such a reliable and caring service in the area. Thank you to everyone at B&B, you’re beyond appreciated (by Rieko too).
