Read on Google →The most caring of vets and so supportive. I can't thank them enough for trying so hard to deal with our dogs tumour.
Read on Google →Such a great vets clinic . Went today for my very anxious staffies annual booster and check up. The staff there did everything they could to make my girl feel at ease . Treats and cuddles and strokes galore .
Read on Google →Really sorry to say that my experience has been very poor with with this veterinary practice. My puppy has a retained testicle and was due to have it removed as part of the castration process. When booking the appointment, I asked the price of the procedure. I was informed that typically castration costs £240. However; the price would be little higher in this instance. When we attended the appointment, I was given a £500 invoice. More than double the price was beyond my expectation (and immediate budget of maximum £400). I had to rebook and return a few weeks later with the £500 that I had been informed would be the maximum cost. Unbelievably, I was now presented with an invoice of £1,000. I left the surgery having not had the expected procedure done for the second time. Moreover, I had no faith, whatsoever, in this vets pricing policy. That day, I went through the process of changing vets. The operation had been agreed with another local vet with a fixed and immovable price of £340.
Read on Google →We were away on holiday and our dog ate some cake with raisins in. We called up and were advised to bring him in to induce vomiting. Prior to bringing him in, I asked what the cost would be, as vet costs can vary drastically. I was asked for his weight, which is 17kg and told it would depend on how quickly he was sick and therefore how much medication he would need but it would be roughly £60-£70 including the £40 consultation fee. What I absolutely cannot fathom is why I was told it would be more like £100 once we had arrived, due to the person quoting over the phone not being aware of his weight (despite asking for his weight and me providing it). I asked why the medication price had gone from £20-£30 to £60 as that is double to triple the price but I wasn't given a proper answer and was obviously being taken for a ride due to the nature of needing the dog being seen to ASAP and not having enough time to go elsewhere. Then when we came to pay the price had somehow magically jumped to £121. The main point of interest was that he only needed 1 injection. So he needed the least amount of medication that they thought he would need and somehow a quote over the phone of £60-£70 was now in reality £121. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled of being taken advantage of in an emergency when they know they have you over a barrel. Left with a very bitter taste in the mouth. Would never recommend.
