Riverside Vets

Riverside Vets is an independent veterinary practice offering comprehensive healthcare for pets. Established in 1976, the practice provides a wide range of veterinary services, aiming for an excellent standard of care for small animals. The practice prides itself on providing tailored individual protocols and treatments for its clients and their pets. It offers its own 24-hour emergency care service and is equipped with a wide array of state-of-the-art equipment to facilitate quick diagnosis and treatment. Riverside Vets operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, with reception closed for staff training on Wednesday lunchtimes between 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm. On Saturdays, the practice is open from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, with emergency out-of-hours fees applying after 12:00 pm. All consultations are by appointment only.

Riverside Vets is based at 2 Scotter Road, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO50 6AJ in Hampshire. The practice treats birds, cats, dogs, equines, exotic/wild and poultry. It is open at weekends.

Through every stage of life — the joyful moments and the heartbreaking ones — they have consistently shown that their priority is care, compassion, and integrity, never money. They are not part of a chain, and that independence truly shows in the way they treat both animals and owners — with time, patience, and genuine heart. I travel out of my way to see them, and I would gladly travel 100 miles if I had to. That’s how much faith and gratitude I have for this exceptional practice

  I cannot speak highly enough about this veterinary clinic, especially an incredible vet called Heidi. They have always gone above and beyond for my dogs and although sadly I will no longer need them, I couldn't have asked for better care. You are heard, supported and treated as a person not just a customer. The ladies on reception are always so quick to assist you and they are never not smiling. Thank you so much for everything and if I decide to welcome another furry addition to my family in the future then I will certainly be putting their health and wellbeing in the hands of Riverside Vets again.

  Very helpful and professional , lesser spotted woodpecker was injured in my garden. So we took it to the vets for help . They took the bird without hesitation and cared for it which me and my granddaughter were very grateful
