  We had to say goodbye to our very special girl today, exactly 15years to the day we picked her up. Archie was exceptional throughout; his care, considerate explainations and compassion went along way. Could not have been a better send off for our wonderful Emma. Thank you Archie!

  Working in a big yard with a load of highly strong individual in both equine and human type, it’s important to have an understanding, quick thinking, innovating team around you. And in Vicky, Bridey and Archie, we have access to an excellent young dynamic team of vets. With excellent knowledge and also realising the need of our sport. They are an integral part of our team. I highly recommend using stable close for those skills alone.

  I have been using Stable Close Equine Practice for many many years, and for several horses over that time. Main vet I use is Alex Sergeant, and she is amazing ! First class in support, diagnosis, new ideas, and working in a caring and considerate way adapting to the horse that she is treating, especially my nervous Connie x gelding Dreamer - she is very good at managing his nerves and ensuring all treatment is delivered in a way that he accepts and builds his confidence. I trust her 100% in every way. A big thank you for all your help and care over the years. Also to all the other vets that have ever attended in emergency situations. I would recommend Stable Close time and time again. Dreamer is very lucky to have this care, as am I.

  I haven't been with the practice for long, but I've had quite a lot of contact in a relatively short period of time! All conditions unrelated in my 19 yr old TB - from routine vax & dental, to acute issues like mud fever, strained hock tendons and sore eyes! I've seen a few of the vets for different concerns - all lovely and resolving issues quickly. I've had most contact with Alex who's been excellent providing on site support when called out, and also some advice remotely over the phone (which is hugely appreciated) for quick reassurance and instruction. The office have also been helpful (and speedy) with requests for meds being made up, and prescriptions written. Thank you Stable Close Equine!
