Scammed my son out of money for pets plan. He never missed a payment but because I struggled with 1 payment over Christmas as I could nearly put food on table they refused to dispense the medication that was paid for for his dogs plan and still refused to see my sons dog. So my son paid repeatedly for his plan and never missed a payment they refused to treat his dog and will be showing emails and that payments where up to date to the rspca and show them the vets here rip their customers off.

Incredibly professional, kind and caring vets. I was recommended to Rhodes when I first got my cat, 4 1/2 years ago. The pet plan is a great help and reassurance that flea and worm treatments are costed in, reminders sent to your phone, plus all yearly vaccinations and free consultations. The reception team are fantastic, and the vets are always so supportive and considerate.

Uncaring and unsympathetic Both my elderly parents are seriously ill (one with major surgery and immobile and one suffering from stage four heart failure and terminal cancer) Their 14yr old cat had become dirty around the house and appeared to be going into dementia. After trying everything to help the cat they couldn't cope any more and resigned themselves to have the cat euthanized as it was making my seriously ill mother worst. We had tried to rehome but nobody wants an old dirty cat with dementia. We made an appointment (6/4/24) during which the vet refused to euthanize the cat! stating that in her opinion it was healthy!! She then mentioned Cat Protection, which we had tried (waiting list) and even suggesting that we put a post on FB which CP advise strongly not to do. I could not reason with the vet that the cat was not well and and causing a great deal of stress for my seriously ill mother who could have a fatal heart attack. The vet took the attitude that the cat took priority over my parents well being!! I was then forced to take the cat back to their house whilst I waited for another appointment. This caused my parents a great deal of unnecessary distress as they had to go through their goodbyes again. Later that day, I got an appointment with my vets at Ashtree, Mkt Harborough, who were totally the opposite and agreed that I was acting reasonably and responsibly. My family has used Rhodes for over 40+ years - not any longer.

I've been with Rhodes for more years than I can remember and vets and support staff have been extremely good that my dogs have looked forward to visiting. They also loved being weighed and their treat before leaving. I would recommend Rhodes to anyone with a pet.
