  I recently moved to Rhyl, researched local vets and this one had good reviews. I took my dog regarding an issue I wanted advice for, only to be made to feel completely stupid. The male vet I saw, an older man, was so rude, dismissive, gave terrible unhelpful advice and basically, what I felt is that he couldn’t wait to get me and my dog out of the room. He barely asked any questions, didn’t show any warmth towards my dog, and make sarcastic comments throughout. The lack of empathy was unbelievable, and to top it off, he made a comment about my dogs breed and implied they deserve to be treated cruelly. I left the appointment in disbelief. The only positive was the lovely girl on reception. I didn’t catch her name, but she was very approachable and actually gave better advice than the vet.

  Where do I start! We had a very sick puppy and the staff here and at Colwyn bay saved her life and treated her with kindness, compassion and love that we can never forget. You are all super heroes, you have given us our precious baby back when we thought we had lost her. We will be forever grateful and never forget what you all did 😍

  Can't thank John enough thankyou. Very professional kind vet dealt with my pup after a dog attack , putting me at ease along with my 10 month old puppy. Staff all very kind. Only sorry I didn't go to John earlier.

  Just wanna say a big thank you to all the staff in rhiafa for everythink you have done for Marley he's is doing fantastic after his surgery we had a few hiccups along the way no fault of there's but there was always someone there to help us straight away they were fantastic iv always used them for all my animals and always will trust them with my babies🐾🐾 so a big thank you to the whole of the rhiafa team ❣️

  I was very happy with the treatment and surgeries given to my two dogs! I found the staff friendly helpful and kind! John is a wonderful vet who says it as it is! I don’t need head patting I needed a proper vet and this in my opinion is what John is! Sadly I was persuaded to change vets and I regret this very much! I wish I had stayed!
