Pet Setters is a veterinary service specialising in issuing Animal Health Certificates (AHCs) for pet owners travelling to EU countries or Northern Ireland from the UK. They operate from multiple locations, including Lewisham and Crystal Palace in London, and Brislington in Bristol, with additional service areas. The practice is run by a trio of veterinary professionals who are also Official Veterinarians (OVs), enabling them to issue AHCs. They established their business in 2022 to provide affordable and convenient AHC services, operating from their homes to facilitate the process for pet owners. The application process involves five steps: starting an application, submitting documents, making payment, pet verification where pet owners visit to verify microchips and original vaccination certificates or arrange a home visit with a surcharge, and finally, the issuance of the certificate.

Absolutely great experience. We had an emergency with our GSD Our usual vet was fully booked plus pretty useless so we looked at finding a better vets..I called Medivets and the receptionist was amazing.. She really helped me with my concerns and had a great attitude. We took Sammy in and the vet was incredible. He gave me an honest, reasonably priced consultation plus medication .He eliminated the worse issues and reduced to the most obvious and least cost. His bedside manner was faultless, the service overall spot on .Sammys symptoms cleared up immediately so was a good diagnosis. If you're unhappy with your current vets change to here

I feel like I chose my vet very well, the vet is extremely kind and patient, always taking the time to explain everything clearly and offering great guidance and reassurance. A huge thank you to the whole team for the care and kindness you show to pets and their owners. I’d also like to thank Madison, who is always so sweet and was very patient, explaining everything and making us feel very comfortable 🐾❤️

The staff are great & very helpful always. There are new vet/partners here and they are first class & v professional . I have been coming here for 20 years including with previous animals & feel their service is excellent

Ive used this vet for years and the staff at reception are lovely but recently we were really let down by Medivet - we had booked in for a rabies vaccination booster to go on holiday but when we filled out the paperwork (at another vets as the service at Medivet is £200+) they flagged that the wrong booster was given, meaning holiday cancelled and all arrangements lost. When we complained we got a half baked apology saying it was basically our fault for not noticing the dog wasn't scanned when vaccinated(we didn't know that was a requirement). We will certainly not trust them in the future. Really disappointed with the aftercare and response to the complaint from medivet. Appreciate it was a simple error on the vets part but this isn't on us, we booked her in for the correct thing and they just did something else. We lost out financially and couldn't go on our holiday and when we complained then left feeling that it is somehow our fault. I would note that the reason they provided the wrong vaccination is that their system doesn't allow them to select a booster for rabies so they add this into a "notes" section which means the vet doesn't actually see this. Which is apparently our fault. Extremely poor aftercare. And clearly a poor IT system.

Their reception staff and vet are super friendly and helpful. He was shaking so much when I took him out to vet for the first time, and they made him feel very comfortable and safe, in the end he fallen asleep on the vet table 😂 Vaccine 💉 was like nothing happened, he didn’t cry at all. The monthly plan can be a good choice if you decide to get all the vaccines and worming treatments done with them.
