My cat 16 year old Jojo had been very poorly at the beginning of the year which resulted in loosing an eye and has various ongoing health issues. She has such great care and kindness given to her at Medivet. I also have another 17 year old cat Simba who has also had pancreatitis. I find the vets all very caring and professional as well as the nurses who are all very helpful, kind and caring. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you.

I have to give credit to the staff for their flexibility. I showed up a week early, having mixed up the dates. They told me it was okay, they could see me in 10 minutes. I was incredibly happy, as I wouldn't have to carry the cat again, which is always stressful for her. Thank you Medivet! Bravo!!!

It looks like most poor reviews are from the last 6months, but issue is the receptionist on two occasions, I was once left there waiting for 45 mins to then be told that the vet was not even in, she didn't even bother to tell me. I called today as my cat had a wound on her eye and asked for appointment to be moved later, I don't ever call to move an appointment or cancel! I am usually there early! She first told me there are no appointments then changed her tune when she realised I was the appointment she needed to move anyway because of another pet emergency. Unfortunately my cat was not in the mood and would not get into the carrier so I asked to completely cancel today and she told me that this has happened more than once and I will need to be charged next time. The first appointment needed to be moved anyway and I received no apologies for the last appointment that I was sat there for 45mins waiting. I am glad I cancelled. My advice would be not be understanding to a business as they most definitely will not be understanding toward you. I should have complained the first time.

Losing a pet is one of the hardest experiences a family can go through, and recently, we sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved cat Radar. He lived with my daughter and her mum, and I had the joy of living with him too for a time several years ago—he was truly part of the family. I just want to express our deepest thanks to the team at the vets for the compassion, care, and kindness they showed throughout the entire process. From the very first moment, they treated Radar with such dignity and love, and they supported us with such empathy every step of the way. What meant the world to us was the incredible way they honoured Radar’s memory: providing us with a small pouch of his fur, his paw prints carefully pressed into sand, and his ashes returned to us with such thoughtfulness. These keepsakes mean more than words can express—they’ve brought so much comfort during such a painful time. Thank you, truly, for going above and beyond. In the darkest moments, your compassion brought a light, and we will never forget what you’ve done for our family and for Radar.
