Most unhelpful people ever; called in an emergency and got told to go to our own vets by the rudest person ever (have just moved cities so not possible).
Read on Google →They care more about the money than they care about the animals they treat. We changed to West Mount Vets and we couldn't be happier with this decision.
Read on Google →We have gone to companion care since my dog (American Akita) was 8 weeks old every single time they have been fantastic with socialisation classes and other check ups and vaccinations. Today they have once again impressed. Our dog required a surgery and throughout the surgery they kept us informed and went above and beyond to help keep him relaxed and comfortable. Tavi (the vet that did the surgery) was extremely accommodating to Elksons requirements given his large size and challenging temperament and nothing was an inconvenience he handled our dog with extreme skill and care. The vet nurses were very kind and gave us a run down of the surgery beforehand and were happy to answer any questions as well as helped ensure Elkson was relaxed as possible. They made it clear before the surgery the costs of the surgery including a break down to make it clear why the costs was what it was. They were also more than happy to do a direct claim to our insurance company. Whilst waiting for the surgery to be done the receptionist offered us drinks and was all round very pleasant and friendly. Overall they made a very unpleasant experience as pleasant as they can and this has left us with no doubt that this surgery is staffed with true animal lovers. I would give 6 stars if I could.
Read on Google →I do understand that you have a bussiness to make money, but usually you pay when you have received the service. At companion you have to pay prior any services received, waiting time for a perscription 5 days when ordered and paid for, that whats we have been advised. A lady had problems using the paying machine she was in distress while holding a wrapped up bundle of her euthanized pet. But bussiness is business i suppose.
Read on Google →Would not recommend.quoted £580 and then billed £1050!!! Took our cat in today as he was struggling to walk and looked like he was in pain. First of all the receptionist was rude and not even willing to to look into the membership telling me they didn’t have our details as they had not been transferred from other branch even though I had been to them some time back when my cat was not well. I was then quoted £550-£580 for some X-rays and checkup. And was made to pay the full amount before the treatment even though I showed them my insurance and pet plan with them. She refused to even listen to insurance person on the phone telling me to do a direct claim through the vets. she said just because insurance is saying this we have our own procedure we can not go through them you have to pay and claim from your insurance. When we went to collect our cat the bill had gone to £1050 which no one made us aware of before carrying out any extra scans they just decided to do other stuff without even getting my consent. Absolutely disgusting for a couple of X-rays and painkillers I’ve been charged almost £1050
