  I cannot recommend Alex enough. We had to make the really difficult decision to have our little fur baby put to sleep a few weeks ago. We had her from 8 weeks and she was nearly 14. I'm only now able to write about it as I am still coming to terms with losing her. Alex was absolutely wonderful, so kind & caring. He arrived and took the time to explain to us what he would do, he was patient giving us time to say goodbye to her. When it was over he gave us some time just to be with her, before he came back in and carefully wrapped her in a blanket. He was so gentle with her. If I could give Alex 100 stars for the care & compassion he showed our little Pepsi I would do, and it still wouldn't be enough. Even the staff at the surgery, were so kind and thoughtful when they were on the phone, and when it came to go and pick up her ashes, they were just so lovely. Thank you to everyone we encountered/spoke to during that time. Your care and compassion meant everything ❤️

  I cannot recommend My Caring Vet highly enough. Even through an incredibly painful and stressful time, the entire team showed nothing but kindness, compassion, and understanding. When we had to say goodbye to our beautiful 20 year old cat, Meg, Alex was absolutely exceptional. He came to our home on a Sunday evening and treated Meg with such gentleness, patience, and dignity. His calm presence, warmth, and genuine care brought comfort to all of us during one of the hardest moments we’ve ever faced. Alex never rushed us, gave us all the time we needed, and created a peaceful, supportive environment so we could say goodbye. The whole team truly went above and beyond, and we will always be grateful for the compassion they showed our family and our much-loved girl. Thank you to everyone at My Caring Vet for making such a heartbreaking goodbye just a little easier. We couldn’t have asked for better care.

  A friend recommended my caring vet to us as our beautiful boy was nearing the end of his time with us. I rang Alwx at 3.30am and he arrived at 4.10am. He explained everything to us and was calm and very caring. Our baby boy died in my arms at 4.30am just as though he was having a snooze. Cannot thank Alex enough. It was sp peaceful. I can't recommend this practice enough. Thank you for making a devastating time so calm and peaceful for us and our baby.

  Absolutely amazing team Compassionate, helpful, caring, committed and skilled. Lisa was excellent on the phone, very accommodating and understanding. During the visit, both Lisa and Heidi were super supportive and really put us at ease when we feared we were going to lose our 8 week old puppy. Emma, the vet nurse, was friendly knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for what she does. The care from both vets was incredible. Alex was calm, knowledgeable, and caring. His compassion and commitment to providing the best care to our puppy prevented devastation. He cared for him as if he was his own. I cannot put into words how grateful I am. I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone. Personal touch, 5* service and highly skilled team. I have no doubt that the outcome for our puppy would have been different had it not been for Alex and his team! Thank you 🙏. X

  5 Stars are not enough for the service we received from Alex (Vet) today, when we took our precious cat 'Trinity' in for the first time. His warmth, time taken to properly assess Trinity, a caring and reassuring approach and also making sure he explained everything carefully to us so we could make an informed decision about future treatment. Trinity is wary at the best of times in situations 'unknown' and has an ability to smell a 'trip to the vet' like a shark smells a drop of blood from miles away. Trinity stayed calm and relaxed. We are so extremely grateful for the person who encouraged us to go to 'My Caring Vet'. We were stunned at the level of service, the fair pricing structure for future treatment needed and how safe we all felt with Alex as Trinity's new vet. I should also mention Heidi (reception) who took my call yesterday and Lisa (reception) today. Both, absolutely lovely and reassuring. Thank you, thank you and thank you!
