Save yourself time and try to avoid them during emergency time. They are not just not helpful but they are also ignorant and rude. Three ladies were sitting at the desk calmly chatting while my other half tried to seek assistance, guidance, or help. Didn't even bother to look at our puppy even tho it was emergency situation regardless they are not our vet. Truly disappointing. Luckily we chose an actual vet who were guided us through the phone and told us what to do.
Read on Google →I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Vets4Pets Crawley and feel it is important to share my experience. My dog requires ongoing pain medication following major orthopaedic surgery. In January I requested medication in advance and clearly advised when it would be needed. Despite this, the medication was not ordered when it should have been and ended up being several days late. As a result, my dog was left without essential pain relief and experienced significant discomfort and deterioration in mobility, which was later confirmed at a hydrotherapy session. Once the medication was reinstated, mobility returned to baseline, demonstrating the impact the delay had. When I attended the practice to resolve this, the Practice Manager initially acknowledged that the medication had not been ordered when it should have been and asked me to put my concerns in writing so the issue could be used for staff training to prevent it happening again. However, when I later raised a formal complaint, the written response contradicted that earlier acknowledgement and responsibility was instead redirected back to me. Throughout this process I also found the Practice Manager’s communication to be abrupt and dismissive, which only added to the frustration of an already difficult situation. Unfortunately the situation was made worse during a later visit when I attended to collect medications and prescriptions. During this interaction I was spoken to abruptly and unprofessionally by a receptionist in front of other clients, which was both embarrassing and completely unnecessary. There were also occasions where communication with one of the vets was extremely difficult due to a significant language barrier, which made it challenging to discuss medication and treatment clearly. I do want to acknowledge that Vet Maria (Head Vet) and Vet Rachael have both been fantastic whenever we have dealt with them directly. They have always been professional, compassionate and helpful, and they were both very supportive in ensuring the correct medication was eventually provided. I fully understand that mistakes can happen in any practice. What matters is how they are handled. In this case the repeated medication issues, combined with the way my concerns were ultimately dismissed, have left me with very little confidence in the practice’s processes. Given that my dog depends on consistent pain management following significant surgery, reliability in medication handling is essential. I have now escalated my complaint to Head Office. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that no other pet owner has to experience their animal being left in avoidable pain due to administrative failures.
Read on Google →Worst vets in Crawley. Avoid at all cost. Very bad experience, rude receptionists and very un professional vets/staff. Appalled. Wouldn't trust these people around your pets let alone to leave them with
Read on Google →I have nothing but nice things to say about all the staff in the Crawley branch. They are so friendly and professional. After my dog had surgery they followed up just to see how he was doing. The vet James and his team were so good and genuinely care. I was kept informed throughout. Thank you all so much. Love Buster the beagle and family.
