I have used this clinic for my dear pets for over 20 years. The staff have always been excellent and provided great service, but there has been a shift in recent years when the practice was bought out by venture capitalists. The prices have risen quite steeply in recent years and, though the staff still seem caring, there definitely seems to be more of a focus on maximising profit at every opportunity.

If you want a warm and friendly place to take your pets then I do NOT recommend Belmont Vetinary Clinic. It was not the usual pleasant atmosphere we have had in all our past visits. This was the first visit in over a year and I have always found receptionists and all the vets in the past, very helpful and friendly. Very disappointed!

I can’t thank this vet practice enough. I first took in an injured hedgehog I’d found on the road, and the team were incredibly kind and helpful — they treated the little hedgehog with real care and didn’t hesitate to help. A little while later, I had to bring in my own dog after an injury, and once again the service was brilliant. The staff were efficient, professional, and genuinely compassionate. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my dog was comfortable and well cared for. It’s clear that everyone here truly loves animals and takes pride in what they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them — absolutely first-class care for both wildlife and pets

Our puppy’s first visit to Belmont and I think she thought it was party time! She had a really thorough check over by the excellent vet, wagged her tail throughout and was rewarded with much appreciated treats. Meanwhile her nervous human parents had all questions answered and departed feeling much more confident.

Really impressed me for my 1st visit. We went to the Pewsey clinic with 8 week old Tilly. The vet was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The 2 ladies in the front desk were fantastic as well. We needed some medication for Tilly, but it was out of stock and a member of staff went out of their way to get it from hungford for us.
