We had a lovely experience with our two staffies Betty and Bobby having their annual boosters at ASL vets, the staff and vet were really friendly and welcoming and really caring towards our pets as they were quite anxious, they were both checked over by the lovely vet and given a clean bill of health and once Betty and Bobby had their jabs, they were given treats too. Overall a really lovely place to take your pet for boosters and anything else and very competative prices too. Recommended!!

Lady Baba has been over grooming her back for close to a year, 2 vets later (the last one was traumatic, as the vet forcefully pulled her tail and push his finger in the anus and that didn't solve the problem, and prescribed medicine that caused Lady Baba vomitting 2 days straight). I have lost faith and was afraid to seek any help from any vet in my area. But I am desperate to find a solution to her problem, and find a vet that really cares that I can go to as she is getting older. After over a month of research, reading reviews and listening to my guts, I have found this practice. Booking was easy, comprehensive and in detail, I managed to book Lady Baba in the next morning. First the first time in Essex, I walked into a vet being welcomed with a smile. (I just let out a relieving sigh as I am typing this, just like how I felt when I received that greeting smile). During the consultation, Vet Alina shows care and understanding of Lady Baba's nervous behaviour, applying appropriate attitude to communicate with her while checking during general palpation while asking questions of her symptoms and diet. After a couple of minutes, she told me what Baba's problem is. with her skin condition. Finally, there was an answer, solution and other points that needed to be addressed. No guessing, no "let's try this and if not then try that." Not adding anything that is not related to Baba's health condition. Vet Alina gave Baba a jab, and even gave her the first dose of the medicine! (I have not had this kind of treatment since I left my home country) Due to her stressful nature, vet Alina gave me a Pet Remedy spray to help calm Baba down. The weight I felt in my chest the whole year has been lifted! Today is the second day since our visit, Baba is a whole lot calmer, she's been sleeping a lot which she would normally have a hard time with, and I only saw her briefly grooming her balded back once . I think I can trust this practice here. I think Baba is finally in good hands. It's about an hour's drive, and it's worth it. I wish I had found you when my Bengal wasn't well, I am sure he would still be alive if he was under your care. Bonus point, I can actually see Lady Baba's health and medical record online, anytime! Thank you so much for being a 'Real vet that cares'!

Excellent care. I wouldn't take him anywhere else now I have found ASL. My wife and I both had Vet anxiety due to several bad experiences with other vets but that has now all changed. I can't speak highly enough about how Woody and ourselves are treated. All the staff we have met at ASL are an absolute credit to the company. I can't speak highly enough. The fact that I was sent a photo of Woody after his operation which put our minds at rest

I went to ASL Vets for a second opinion as I had heard from others that they were very good . I got an appointment on a day and time that was convenient. I took millie and they listened and checked her over . Took her for a urine test as she hadn't had one at my actual vets . The assistant brought millie back and she was covered over as she was scared . I felt this was really nice of them to consider ,as no other vet ever had . The results were available in minutes ,which the vet showed me ,and went through with me . Gave me some good advice ,and didn't try and talk me into anything . I felt they were kind , empathetic to millie and were genuinely friendly . I have since transfered all 3 cats over to this practice .
