We’ve used Armac for emergency out of hours care on several occasions. It’s always easy to book in an appointment, 24 hours a day. All the staff are friendly, helpful and compassionate.

This practice is a nightmare, they have no idea what they are doing, they are not returning calls although promised. I went with two kittens for a healthcheck and for worming treatment. The vet asked if I wanted to get them vaccinated as well and I told him that I read that kittens should not be vaccinated if they haven't been wormed at least 2 weeks earlier, he said that it's fine to vaccinated them and it doesn't matter if they have been wormed or not. Well as it turned out it's not fine as the vaccine may not be effective at all and this is not a standard guidance. After the vaccination one of the kittens got diarrhoea so I went back but I've been told that it's probably from the vaccine and that they cannot give the kitten anything for it. I got 2 sachets of probiotic. Couple of days later it got worse to the point that the kitten went to litter box 4 times within 1h so I went back for emergency visit. I brought stool samples as well. This time I've been you'd that it's probably worms so they have given him worm treatment again and some paste to give him for 3 days. I've been told that the lab results will be back within 1 week. I have called 1 week later no results, the kittens still has diarrhoea so Ive asked to speak to vet as its been over 2 weeks, the kitten doesn't gain weight and I'm now really worried. I've been told that the vet will call me back. Guess what? no phone call. I called the next day and Ive been assured that I'm on the list for a phone call that day. We'll it's 3 days later still no phone call and no results. I have oaud fir those 2 vusits £480 for what?? If I could give negative stairs I would. I should've gone with different vet especially that they have failed to diagnose my older cat on time and when I went 3 months later with him it was too late to do anything to save him as he had advanced lymphoma and my cat died 6 weeks later 😢. Stay away of you can!!!

We had an unexpected trip to the emergency vets and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience. The staff were so caring and super reassuring during such a stressful time. Their love for animals shines. Their prices were so reasonable and about 1/4 of the price we’d been quoted by another surgery. This really helped to relieve stress and we could just focus on getting our dog feeling better. Thank you!

We had to take our dog to the emergency vets unexpectedly, and I can’t praise the team enough. They were so kind, calm, and professional from the moment we arrived, which really helped during what was a stressful evening. The lady vet who treated our dog was absolutely lovely — gentle, patient, and you could tell she genuinely cared. Everything was explained clearly, with no pressure or confusion, and they made sure we understood every step of the treatment. It felt like they truly had our dog’s best interests at heart. For an emergency visit, the cost was very reasonable and in line with our normal vet, which was great to see. I’d wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone — such caring, genuine people who made a difficult situation so much easier.

We had to visit this emergency vets unexpectedly, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a kinder or more professional team. From the moment we arrived, they were calm, reassuring, and genuinely caring — both towards us and our pet. A special mention to the lady vet who carried out the treatment — she was absolutely wonderful. The staff took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we understood all our options without ever feeling pressured. You can tell they truly love what they do. Considering it was an emergency appointment, the prices were very fair and completely in line with our usual vet. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone who finds themselves needing urgent care — truly lovely people who went above and beyond for us!
