Amazing service, our 16 old.pooch had what we thought was a vaginally prolapse yesterday, we took.her the the emergency vets who treated.her and advised it was a tumour. Got an appointment swiftly at Vets for Pets Bury who treated her and sent of the sample. Collected her and they'd sorted all the insurance via our provider and informed us of Tilly's treatment and next steps. Couldn't have had better service with professional but friendly support. So glad we're with them.
Read on Google →I have been coming here for a few years with my cat who was a rescue and former street cat. They know this; I have made it clear that he has been through the mill, and that he is extremely afraid of vets and can lash out. Now, surely my old ginger cat is not the only animal that vets see who presents as fearful and aggressive. And yet whenever I show up (only for annual boosters as I know how much stress it causes him) they act as though i am unreasonable for bringing him. Today I asked if they could do the boosters in his neck as they had tried last year to inject near his tail and that didn't go down too well. The vet denied this saying the records show it was put into the neck. No, deary, I was there, and got the full force of my boy's anger. Then the vet said we wouldn't be able to do the vacs as he was scratching me, and she didn't want to be scratched. It was down to me to suggest a solution so I asked for a towel, which I put over his head and held him while she injected the boosters; cat was fine, all over in seconds. Standards everywhere have slipped because in the old days, not only would there be more of a bedside manner, but she could have offered me a wet wipe to clean the scratch on my hand. Then I made the mistake of attempting to be jovial with the receptionist, but she sat there with a face like a bag o spanners. I hope you guys listen to this and sort it out. I would go elsewhere but it seems no vet in bury has a backbone. You need to toughen up; animals are animals, they can be unpredictable. Don't be a vet if you can't handle that in a professional manner.
Read on Google →Great practice. Reception staff friendly helpful and professional. Easy to get appointments. I'm disabled and staff help me carry my pet inside, ensure I have a seat in the consultation room. My vet Michael is outstanding. He takes time and doesn't rush the consultation. He gives gold standard care and clearly cares about animals and their parents. Highly recommended.
Read on Google →The staff are friendly and professional. These people really care about your pet and provide the best service possible. Big thanks to Alison and Joshua who went above and beyond to help my dog Teddy. With their help, Teddy is on his way to a full recovery. I cannot recommend this practice enough. You and your pet are in safe hands.
Read on Google →Very rude receptionists! I visited for my dogs annual vaccination today. I was given the time of 11.40am which I immediately wrote down in my diary. I got there and stated my name and appointment time, I was told my appointment was 1pm! The way she spoke to me made me feel stupid. I checked my diary and sure enough 11.40 was the time given so I went back to ask them to check again and showed them my diary entry. They told me that 11.40am is the last appointment before dinner and if 2 are booked simultaneously then 1pm would be the next available appointment. I stated i was unhappy about this and asked why i wasn't contacted to be told my appointment had been changed. Another receptionist piped up IF THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!! Clearly Inferring that it was MY mistake. I got no apology for the mix up, just spoken to as if I was stupid. Consequently I had to hang around the area on a bitterly cold day as it wasn't worth going home. Your vets are ok but reception staff- your customer service needs improving!
