I had to use this emergency vets on a Saturday evening, mainly as a precaution since my dog had caught her back paw & was limping. I was told up front that there would be an emergency fee of £313.50 & although I thought this was a bit steep , I was prepared to pay this since my dog was insured & I could claim it back. The total bill was £383.35 & this included the cost of painkiller injection £34.85. & a £35.00 admin fee. This fee was chargable, since I was going to claim on my insurance & I guess the £35.00 was for their admin. I have just been paid out by my insurance company less my excess & the £35 admin fee. I appreciate that you can expect to pay more for a visit to the vet at the weekend. However, based on the fact that you have to pay £313 just to see the vet, the fact that they charge a £35 admin fee is extortionate & really taking the P.

Read on Google →Very happy with the services I received I was concerned about my little Dachshund Elphina as she had been sick all day the day and night before also her stool was like water and red with blood .We had to travel more than an hour away from home to get to the out of hours vet which I am grateful for my daughter and Granddaughter for taking me . The price was expensive but needs must to make sure that my little baby girl was seen as it was a big shock to see her not well . Thank you taking care of her 😀
Read on Google →We were very grateful for a vet to see our beloved dog. He did sadly pass three days later which was a massive shock. Like I said, we were glad to be able to get to see a vet out of hours however the constant stressing on how much our insurance was for and whether or not we'd ever claimed on it was rather upsetting. We came away saying how awful it was. Yes they gave him two injections and advice but the cost of five hundred for 20 minute appointment just added to our worry. Like I said, glad of a vet but the cost and constant money reference was unnecessary
Read on Google →Seen Immediately, the female team of vet & nurse were loverly, calm, compassionate and friendly. Explained everything clearly and at a pace I could take it in given the shock and trauma I was experiencing. Can't fault them, showed real compassion with my dog who had impaled her self on something in the woods. They prioritised her Pain and anxiety, regulary updating me. They kindly helped plan the best financial solution for my dogs welfare, lots of pain relief on board, bandaging her up well so I could take her home to be with me as it was near midnight to await surgery she would need in the morning. Thank You from Argo and me.
