I brought my dog here when she seemed out of sorts. After a battery of blood tests, they found some anomalies and gave her a scan. A big growth was found on her spleen and it was recommended she had surgery to remove her spleen before it ruptured! Within 24 hours, I was picking her up after her surgery and taking her home to a very happy family! It wasn't cheap but can you put a price on your pets welfare. Very impressed! Thank you vets for pets.

Recently had to take a ferrel cat into them to sadly have her put to sleep. Poor girl was well over 20 and had lived in our shed in the garden for years. Unfortunately she was deteriorating badly, Vets for Pets at Hookstone were so helpful, and compassionate especially the young lady on reception. The vets were so much better and helpful than all the other well known charities I had attempted to get any help … without success, gave me a complete different view on these “ caring” charities. Thank you Vets for Pets for all you did.

I cannot rate or recommend this practice enough. Their care, attention & support to not only the pets, but their owners is second to none. After my 1yr old pup took a turn for the worst during a routine spaying, they could not have done more to save her and make sure she was ok. After suspecting the complication was due to an unknown issue with her heart, they ensured she was seen by the specialist that day. I received a call from Leigh-Anne who calmly talked me through what had happened, and the action taken, while taking the time to ensure I was also ok. I received a picture update while my pup came round to ease my anxiety and had a further call from the Cardiologist once she had completed her exam. Leigh-Anne greeted me when I arrived to collect her, provided a further update and again checked myself & my daughter were ok. This all happened just yesterday and early this morning I received a further phone call to see how my pup had managed through the night. We have a further appointment booked in to see the specialist next week, but I could not feel more supported if I needed anything in the meantime. Thanks to their additional safety measures when operating, I have my beautiful girl home with me. I am incredibly grateful to the whole team and although we ended on a high, the stress of yesterday was not just mine, but theirs too and I am forever in their debt. You do amazing work and thank you again from the bottom of me heart!

The staff are simply lovely, from receptionist, nurse to the vet. Lucy is superb, she truly loves animals and that is apparent. I left my cat knowing he would be well looked after. They just put my mind at easy. Definitely couldn't recommend your practice enough.
