  Everyone is amazing they do a Truly fabulous job . They looked after my elderly rescue pug cookie so well after removing her tumour and they look after all my rescue pugs and are so caring Thankyou so much to everyone at the Pdsa Romford

  I have only just recently joined the PDSA. My 1st visit was for dental treatment on my little chihauhau, and the care and treatment was great. The 2nd visit was today as my same dog has a heart murmor and needed a scan this morning, and didn't require any sedation either. A few hours later i was called to say she is ready to be collected. When i arrived, I was the only one in there, and was told to sit and wait and she will be out soon. Next another lady came in to collect her dog, and the receptionist said to her, that she will be after me. Next loads of others arrives with pets and some collecting. Suddenly the vet appears and calls the lady who came in after me. So I'm wondering what is going on, as i had already been sat there for 15 minutes before her. 45 minutes later and most of the others have been seen etc, i called out to the medicine dispenser girl who had seen i had been sat there for an hour, and i said, what the heck is going on, and why has everyone been and gone except me, and with that she said, after sitting there scrolling on social media, "Oh i did wonder why you were sitting there, as your dogs prescription was ready ages ago". She quickly got up to see what was going on. Suddenly the vet arrives and apoligised and said i wasn't even on the waiting list !!! ABSOLUTELY FUMING !!! I said to the lovely vet, that this isn't on one bit, there are 2 ladies on the reception desk and one on pharmacy, who could clearly see i was 1st in and still sitting there...Why didn't any of them pay any attention to this and question what was going on? I have chronic health conditions, and could have done without this today. It has really put me off from going back there. So take note anyone using PDSA Romford, if you are seeing anyone being called in before you and youv'e been sat there like i was, make sure they haven't forgotten you, even though you are sat directly in front of them.

  My cat had a worsening heart condition. At 7am I phoned out of hours emergency who told me to take him to pdsa Romford, where he was being treated, at 8:30 when it opens and under the circumstances would be seen straight away. When I got there receptionist asked if I had an appointment. I explained the situation and was told without an appointment I might not be seen because they are sort staffed. Receptionist was not concerned I had a cat that was in pain and dying, receptionist was just telling me off for turning up without an appointment. Finally she agreed to get cat seen to and highlighted I would have to pay. When the vet did see my cat , I agreed we should put him to sleep. Normally to be seen I would pay about £25 but to put him to sleep was about £47 which didn't take any longer. Paying the money is not the problem, but it seems like they just care about making money and didn't have any empathy

  Absolutely amazing from the receptionists to the veterinarians they really are the friendliest, loveliest, kindest and caring bunch of humans I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! I cannot stress just how worried I was having my dogs neutered yesterday but they were reassuring, did not make me feel bad when I called the emergency line for an update and did not make me feel bad when I was late collecting them due to traffic when my male dog would not stop barking it must have drove them crazy! I really appreciate the staff here and can honestly say if you need to bring your pet here they are definitely in the best hands ❤️

  The PDSA Romford always take good care of my chihuahua poppy. Yesterday she had to have quite a few teeth removed under anaesthesia and she’s healing up well already. She’s a bit tired and sulky but of course that’s to be expected. They treated her with comfort and respect considering she’s a nervous girl and I will always be grateful to them for giving her the best treatment always. Thank you PDSA for all the help you’ve given pets like poppy ❤️
