Veterinary Poisons Information Service in City of London

This specialised unit focuses exclusively on toxicology and poisonings in animals, providing crucial expert advice rather than direct clinical care to pets or livestock. Distinguished by its role as a vital information hub, the Service stands out as a unique resource within the veterinary community. It does not function as a typical practice offering routine consultations or surgeries, but rather as an expert referral centre, offering critical assessments and treatment guidance for complex poisoning cases. Late evening our puppy chewed a box chewing gums, he didn’t necessarily eat the gums but who knew, all I saw was him with an opened box of wet licked chewing gums. As you might know 1 chewing gum with Xylitol is enough to kill a small dog, I was scared and didn’t want to see my dog dying in front of me. Luckily I remembered that in our neighborhood there’s this new vet clinic opening until 20h. I was greeted by friendly Dagmar who took care of our puppy. Long story short, in 1 hour our puppy was treated and came back home, a bit tired but survived. What’s more, Dagmar even followed up late night to ensure that our puppy is alright, and was on the phone when I suspected something was wrong with our puppy (he’s fine). Well that’s what I call a good work, fantastic place and awesome service! Thank you Dagmar and the team!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding experience at London Prime Vets. From start to finish, the service was excellent. Dagmar and another member of the team who helped us were incredibly professional, kind, and helpful, making us feel completely at ease. They took the time to explain everything clearly and showed genuine care throughout the visit. Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate vet.

I’m so grateful London Prime Vets were open today! My little dog needed emergency treatment, so we called and were seen really quickly. Dr Tania took care of my dog Leyla, and she’s feeling so much better now and finally able to rest. The clinic is also lovely, clean, modern, and very welcoming. I’m really thankful to have these new vets so close by, just two stops away and right near the tube station ! Thank you !

I brought my pup here recently and really loved the experience! The staff was very welcoming and handled my dog’s anxiety very well! I could tell my dog was in good hands especially with how thorough they were with everything! They also listened to my concerns regarding my dog which not all vets do! I will be recommending London PrimeVets to all my friends and family.
