Fantastic vets , outstanding care and support to all pets. Our cats are now three and have attended this practice since 12 weeks old. High recommended. Plus the pet care plan helps by paying monthly so injections and treatments are covered without a lump sum. With having two cats seriously highly recommended. We had our previous cat at this practice for over 14 years and now the other two. Supportive and most caring vet’s practice within Swansea.

I have mixed experience with them. Last year I had to take my cat twice for vaccine and boosters. She is a difficult little one. But my last year's experience was so good. But today I took her for booster. The vet Katherine didn’t even explain to me about the vaccine and physical examination. Moreover, when she brought her back from the dark room(that's where they take them if they are feisty)my cat was hissing even at me from the cage. Very disappointing it was and stressful for me. She suggested unlicensed use of medication in future so that it will help them to examine my cat better. But last year my cat was treated better than this and without medication. But i don't remember the vet's name, they were so nice and comforting. But I hated my experience today! It was an absolute nightmare.

Imogen is a lovely vet - she did the dentals for both of my dogs and both have recovered well. She takes the time to explain everything in an understandable way, listens intently to what you have to say and is happy to answer any questions you have. When I collected one of the dogs after her surgery, I could hear the staff in the back saying goodbye to her and she trotted out with her tail wagging - it’s reassuring to know that the staff clearly care about the animals, it’s great leaving the dogs with people you can trust. The receptionists are always helpful and polite on the phone; one lady gave my dog some treats because she was shaking from nerves while waiting to be seen by the vet. We are also part of their Pet Health Club which includes yearly vaccinations, regular flea and worming treatments, discounts on the dentals and the dogs had their nails clipped too. I highly recommend St James Vets.
