Our vet Ellie is very patient and understanding with my nervous, reactive dog. They’ve built such a bond and made such progress that my dog now even sits on her lap with no problem. The reception team is warm and friendly.

Becky is a superb vet. I’m always nervous when I go to the vet as is seren, my rescue dog. She reassures us both and makes us feel safe as well as being so experienced and instinctive as a vet.

Just a fantastic Practice with every member of staff being happy, friendly and very caring. Special mention for Emma Westley who has taken extra time to put both my rescue dogs at ease before any treatment is given on each occasion we have needed to visit. 10/10 👏👏👏👏 The whole team have to be one of the best in the business.

I have used St James Vets for over 10 years now.Initially it was the night time cover that was important to me.Over the years I have found the best experiences have been from individual vets who know me and my dogs.Reception staff are pleasant and knowledgeable.

We have had all 3 of our dogs registered at St James Vets, for nearly 10 years. We have always been happy until our oldest dog needed an X-Ray on his knee. St James Vets quoted us £1,100 for an X-ray on one leg. We know pets are expensive but we found this price to be extremely expensive. We decided to phone JACK'S VETERINARY and transferred all our pets there. Jack’s charged us just £250, less than a quarter of St James’ price!! Our 3 dogs LOVE their new vet, and so do we.
