  I have 2 rhodesian ridgebacks. we live in Abbotskerswell. We drive to Dartington to see these vets as they are different. Instead of oh, I hate big dogs can we muzzle them? I get the vet sitting on the floor, allowing my dogs to come to him, and speaking calmly, that was the 1st visit. taking time to know us. now we have no issues, seeing them is a pleasure even for the dogs. Great team, fantastic knowledgeable vets, great service, just perfect if you care about your dogs. And Dino has lost his fear of vets which is priceless, Thank you

  Thank you to the South Moor Vets for all the care, attention and expertise you have provided to my amazing Labrador Alistair from our first visit with his physical wound, right through bringing the swelling down, undertaking testing, providing and talking us through the options and then the operation and aftercare.   Always a bit nervous about costs when taking my dog to a vet’s but southmoor vets in Dartington have completely quashed that worry. They have treated my dog on a number of occasions now with great care, attention and the costs have been affordable to say the least. Thank you Alistair and team 🙏

  This vet was recommended to me by my daughter. I have a birder collie who is very sensitive and nervous, trying to get her in reception at my previous vets was a nightmare so much so that she had to be attended to in the car park. South Moor vets have been superb and very sympathetic to my BC we have agreed a gentle introduction and we now visit once or twice a week walk into reception greeted by cheerful friendly staff, my dog gets a treat and we leave. My dog has also been attended to by one of the vets who attended to her in reception with a handful of treats and managed to examine her, a good start. So thank you South Moor for your kindness understandind and proffessionlism .
