EDIT: 4 Months on from this review and our boy is still thriving 😊 We've recently adopted a puppy and booked him in to have his vaccine with this 'Vet'. Upon meeting Monique we noticed she was very rude and condescending! The whole vibe was off from this point... We were told he is severely underweight and did not look "right". Monique proceeded to drag him around the table and pulled at his ears (making him cry and yelp) saying he had ear mites and would need to have medication for this, which would be £70! She asked if he had had any diarrhoea or sickness and I reply yes to diarrhoea as we had changed the food he was previously on for her to say he has Parvo and could not have his vaccination without having a £400 test first and that would be if he would make it through the night!! Obviously we were distraught and thought about paying it as we are good people worried our pet was sick, but decided to get a second opinion and were very glad we did! We registered with PDSA and got an emergency appointment the following day due to the remarks from Monique. We found out he didn't have ear mites, just alot of ear wax and he did NOT have Parvo he was just adjusting to his new food. He was not DYING like she made out and I'm absolutely fuming that she suggested he was!! The receptionist/nurse was lovely and polite but Monique is disgusting!! I would not suggest this vet to anyone if you love your pets! Monique just tried to get money out of us! And just so you know Monique...Our boy is happy and thriving after having had his vaccination and LOVE from the PDSA 😊 If I had my way I would get her stuck off immediately!!

We cannot rate this practice more highly We lost our beautiful boy yesterday He had a very rare heart condition that was diagnosed when he was about a year old With help care and guidance of the loving staff at Pet Vet he managed to live a full happy life for five more years behaving as a nutty cocker spaniel as he should In tha last month or so he began to go down hill and they guided and supported us every step of the way Because of them we had another 5 years of fun, mischief and companionship - Thankyou all so much

This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I went there without hesitation. My cat, Luna, was very well cared for; she was spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and had her nails clipped—all without any issues. The communication with the vet was great, and the staff at the front door were lovely. Luna especially enjoys being with Amber, but that didn’t stop her from being naughty during her last visit. I look forward to seeing you next month. Thank you for everything! Ana & Luna

I have honestly never felt so small and made to feel like nothing in my whole entire life. We arrived to get our cat spayed and chipped. We were greeted by the lovely and most polite young lady behind the counter and another young lady. When we got asked to take our cat into the room for the vet to examine, that's when it went down hill. Just the atmosphere, the look and attitude the second I walked in was off. I got asked my cats age and why she hasn't been done yet ( which I explained she has always been and indoor cat due to living in a flat but we have recently got a house and if she wants to go out we want her done before hand). I got given a lecture and what felt like a telling off? I was honestly so shocked I was being spoke to like that! Then to top it off basically be told me and my partner could be the reason my cat has things wrong with her even though she's perfectly healthy. The vet demanded my cat had a £100 blood test before being spayed which I said I couldn't afford at the moment.. to then be given a look like I was absolute scum? Honestly I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life! I asked can she just be chipped then at least! We got another look like she couldn't be asked and got a reply "ok fine". Soon as that was done we were out of there. The reception staff looked confused why I was leaving, I was too! But the 2 ladies behind reception were so lovely and I couldn't fault them. I won't be going back there and will be taking my cat elsewhere in the future.

Lovely staff, professional and my cat was seen promptly. I have finally found a vet who I can trust with my pets and the price is good. I have tried different vets before but this one is just the favourite. Will definitely stay here. Thank you
