  Penmellyn veterinary centre in St Columb is THE best vet service in the area. I live in Truro and have had my pets with a couple vets in Truro (St Clements ‘avoid’ & Pets at home ‘poor service’) and I have moved my pets from these as the service has been generally very poor with rude staff. I finally found a vet practice where the staff are compassionate and super friendly. The staff make you and your pet feel very welcome and well cared for. The building itself has a large waiting area which is dog/cat friendly which helps to relax a stressed pet waiting for an appointment. The carpark is large so there’s not a problem finding a parking space. I always recommend Penmellyn Vets in St Columb to others, my experience there has always been very positive.

  Whilst on holiday our elderly dog became very ill and sadly had to be put to sleep. The service we received at Penmellyn St Columb was exceptional. We would like to thank Katie on reception who was so helpful on advising and booking us in. And vet Ben for the utmost care, kindness, dignity and respect he showed to us and our dear girl in ensuring her passing was as peaceful as possible.

  We contacted Penmellyn Vets because we needed treatment for our dog whilst on holiday in Cornwall. The receptionist was very helpful in booking our appointment and in helping us with the whole process. Our consultation was good and we were given helpful and clear advice along with a treatment plan. I would highly recommend this vets practice.
