I took my dog to Parker and Crowther vets at Preston New road Southport as I was concerned about a damaged dew claw. The staff were very friendly and removed my dogs damaged nail, showed great care and compassion and offered this service free of charge. Would highly recommend this practice to other people.

The service here always feels very personal and isn’t rushed. Laura Shawcross is lovely and will really get to know your pet. She has a beautiful way about her and the other vets that we have seen at P&C have always been very knowledgeable and professional. At those awful times when it has been the kindness thing to say goodbye to one of our dogs, we have always been treated with sympathy and respect. Appointments have been given at the end of surgery for privacy and special little touches put into place, like the lighting of a candle. The reception staff and nurses are always very friendly and also take the trouble to get to know your pet. P and C vets are a little more expensive than some other vets, but we have found this to be worth it.
