Brilliant veterinary practice. I’ve now seen two different vets here, and both were genuinely lovely. I especially appreciate that neither of the vets tried to upsell unnecessary treatments like teeth cleaning and blood tests, until actually needed (which was one of the reasons I left my previous local vet). My cat is very loving and friendly but he doesn’t like to be poked and prodded too much. They understand this and are able to adapt how they handle him to cause as little stress as possible, while still managing to check everything. Thank you.

  • We had to visit the vets on two occasions due to our cat Sooty injuring her paw. We were dealt with by both the receptionist and vet in an efficient bug caring way. We were not rushed when seeing the vet, but given time to discuss her injury and treatment.

From puppy socialisation, injections, nail clipping and sending appropriate info to others, if needed, the staff couldn't be more helpful, caring, and proffessional. Would highly recommend Oathall Vets!! First class 😊

We would not recommend this vet. Firstly, our dog suffered ear problems and after two visits to Oathall the problem went undiagnosed and without effective treatment. We went to another vet and they were able to diagnose the problem immediately and treated it on the same day. We had to go back to Oathall after our dog injured their eye out-of-hours. They charged us an arm and a leg to refer our dog to a specialist, however when we arrived the specialist told us that they never even received the referral conformation - so a total waste of money! We also found the service and advice here to be cold and uncaring. We are not ones to normally leave a bad review, but in this case we believe it’s been well earned.

Unfortunately I had a very poor experience at this vets. My cat is only 6 and a vet recommended to remove all his teeth, so I wouldn't have to do future dentals. I made it very clear that I only wanted the teeth that were bad to be taken out. The surgeon went against my wishes and took out more teeth then needed. I spoke to the staff and wrote a complaints emails to the practice manager, but was ignored. I would not recommend this vets for your cats. The treatment of both myself and pet was very poor.
