  So thankful to this vets. I've had a really poorly boy this last 9 months and they've been great. Vets gave been understanding and realistic of what we can do (olivia). And the gals on reception Abby & Emily are also very very helpful and always supportive of how our cats need specialist care. They're friendly, supportive cheery and very grateful!

  I recently had an appointment with Vets for Pets for my dogs annual boosters, they were very friendly and calming as my dog is very nervous. They were very gentle and did a very thorough checkup whilst keeping her relaxed and not rushing through it even though they were very busy at the time. Very good advice given as always!

  I have recently had an experience with the Nuneaton vets for pets when caring for my daughters dog who needed urgent care due to having a bladder issue and not being able to pass urine, they were kind, considerate and treated him with compassion and kindness, they did everything they could to make him as comfortable as possible. Would definitely recommend this practice Lesley

  Got hit in the face with a blood test for my perfectly healthy dog, and when I denied it, your vet told me, "If she gets sick, don't come back." Not happy with that insinuation, but I will be taking his advice, and removing all my animals from the pet plan to find another vets who don't guilt trip me when I don't want to pay £300 for an unnecessary blood test. **UPDATE** We've left this vets because they tried to prescribe my dog Librela, which is a known dog killer. Please look up this injection before you let your dog take it, it has too many casualties.

  Unfortunately, my experience with Lucy's annual vaccination was extremely disappointing and far more stressful than it should have been. Lucy is a healthy domestic cat, born on 20 March 2023, who completed her primary vaccination course as a kitten and has received all of her annual boosters on time, with no gaps in her vaccination history. My first appointment was cancelled because Lucy needed to be registered and the practice wanted to obtain her previous records. That was completely understandable. I then booked another appointment, paid the £65 vaccination fee in advance, and returned as instructed. I had accidentally left Lucy's vaccination booklet at home, but the receptionist kindly reassured me that this wasn't a problem and that I could bring it in afterwards. Despite this, the vet refused to vaccinate Lucy because he couldn't verify her vaccination history, so I had to arrange yet another appointment. Later that day, the reception team contacted me and asked me to send photographs of Lucy's vaccination booklet via WhatsApp, which I did immediately. I was then informed that because the practice did not stock the same vaccine brand, Lucy would need to restart a two-dose primary vaccination course, costing £135. This recommendation immediately concerned me because Lucy had already changed vaccine brands once before. In June 2025, her annual booster was changed from Purevax to Zoetis Versifel without any concerns and without restarting her primary vaccination course. This was therefore not the first time her vaccine brand had been changed. I sought a second opinion and researched the current vaccination guidance, which states that once a cat has completed its primary vaccination course and has remained up to date with regular boosters, changing vaccine brands does not normally require restarting the primary course. After I raised these concerns, I was told Lucy could receive her booster after all, and another appointment was arranged. Unfortunately, Lucy hid that day, so we had to rearrange once again. At the following appointment, my husband took Lucy to the practice. To our surprise, the vet once again refused to vaccinate her and insisted that he required the two-dose course. Only then did the reception staff contact the vaccine manufacturer directly. The manufacturer confirmed that Lucy could safely receive her booster using a different vaccine brand, and she was finally vaccinated. I would like to sincerely thank the reception staff. They were consistently kind, patient and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. They listened to our concerns, took the initiative to investigate the issue properly and ultimately contacted the manufacturer to obtain the correct information. Without their efforts, Lucy may well have undergone unnecessary treatment. However, I find it deeply concerning that I had to question the advice, research the issue myself, seek a second opinion, attend multiple appointments, and ultimately rely on the vaccine manufacturer to clarify what should have been straightforward clinical guidance. For a routine domestic cat vaccination, I would expect vaccine compatibility and current vaccination protocols to be fundamental knowledge within a veterinary practice. This was not an unusual or complex case, yet it resulted in repeated conflicting advice, unnecessary appointments, wasted time, avoidable stress, and a recommendation for additional vaccinations that ultimately proved to be unnecessary. This experience has unfortunately affected my confidence in the clinical advice provided by the practice. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken constructively so that future clients do not have to go through the same experience.
