Had an absolutely wonderful experience here from start to finish! The booking process was seamless, and the veterinary team showed so much care and attention to my dog during the consultation. To top it off, getting what we needed at their pharmacy was quick and easy. Highly recommend this place to any pet owner!

Genuinely could not have had a better experience at this vet, the staff are absolutely amazing and so patient with our very overexcited dog, we’ve spent over a year trying to get help with our dogs incredibly itchy skin and no vet has ever been able to examine her properly or offer any kind of medication despite constant struggles. The vet here was incredibly patient, thorough and seemed to genuinely care and now we wait to see if her new medication will help! We left feeling very relieved to have some answers for our girls struggles and very happy with the services provided!

An absolutely OUTSTANDING vet practice. My entire fleet of animals use this vet practice due to their above and beyond level of care. We have a cat that was diagnosed last year with diabetes. Not only did these fantastic vets get us a definitive diagnosis quickly, they helped us get her the right treatment and all the right accessories to help manage her condition, a year on and she’s the most healthy she’s ever been, bright eyed, fluffy and maintaining a healthy weight. Insulin injections twice a day can be overwhelming for both us and our kitty, but thanks to the staff working here, we can safely administer her injections with no harm to her or stress to us. We also recently had our pooch diagnosed with bladder stones which was an absolutely terrifying experience, taking our dog in for emergency surgery. The surgery was completed at their neighbouring vets (walsgrave) as it took place on a Sunday. But all his care and after care was provided by themselves. The initial diagnosis and care was also provided at canley. If it wasn’t for their knowledgable staff and vets, we likely would not have got his care in time and therefore he could have suffered much worse injuries. We now have a happy, healthy sausage boy, on a special veterinary diet to keep him safe. The compassion all the staff at canley have for animals is unmatched and each of them is a credit to the establishment. I cannot recommend them enough.

As a retired vet nurse I can comfortably say this practice have been excellent with both a 10 week old puppy in our rescue and my own very nervous dog. The puppy’s welfare concerns were seen to and we had great advice and support. Our own dog was seen on the floor due to having had a bad experience at another vet, and the very pregnant vet went above and beyond to reassure him (and see him on the floor) and ensure a happy, stress free visit. He had bloods drawn and the receptionist checked on me assuring me he was stealing hearts in the back and they all adored him. The vet was honest he’d blown a vein and they had to stop the bleeding, (which happens) and he showed no signs of stress in fact for the first time ever he came out from the back of a vet clinic tail wagging and happy. A kind, friendly and professional practice for canines!

We cannot recommend Vets for Pets in Canley highly enough. We inherited our dog Tiny from an elderly family member. She is an older, uninsured dog and was sadly diagnosed with cancer, so this has been a difficult time for us as new dog owners. We were quite honestly unsure what we were doing at first. The care and treatment we have received has been exceptional from the start. Monica, the vet, has been outstanding, knowledgeable, compassionate, and always clear in explaining options. Zoe, the nurse, and Gemma on reception have also been brilliant, along with the rest of the team. Every interaction has been kind, supportive, and genuinely caring. The team go out of their way to make both us and Tiny feel comfortable. The surgery is always clean, well maintained, and has a calm, friendly atmosphere. Tiny actually enjoys going, especially with the extra fuss and attention she gets. We’ve felt supported throughout, and it is clear the staff truly care about the animals they treat and the people who bring them in. Thank you to the whole team for everything you’ve done for Tiny.
