The reception team and veterinary practitioners have always been very helpful and provide good service, which I really appreciate. However, the phone service has been quite difficult. several occasions I have had to wait more than half an hour just to speak with someone to arrange my repeat worming treatment under my healthcare plan. Because of this, it has become inconvenient to manage my pet’s treatment, and I am considering switching to another Medivet branch. I hope this feedback is helpful, as the in-person service has been good, but the phone accessibility could really be improved.
Read on Google →My puppy got very sick after hours and we called the clinic. We had an appointment within half an hour and there was no wait. The vets were very knowledgable as well as kind to my puppy. She was kept there over night and I really felt she was I. Good hands. The nurses were so nice too - reassuring me when I called in the morning. When I came to pick her up she was wagging her tail again!

At a tough and emotional time when we considered putting him to rest, we decided against it and decided to continue with an emergency operation. Our emergency vet Ziad was understanding by giving us all the time we needed to discuss and make a decision. Our cat undergone a successful operation owing to Ziad. He gave us all the details of medication we needed and advised us on how to mitigate future reoccurrence. He was patient and understanding and just the vet we needed at 2am on a Monday morning recovering from a stressful last few hours. Many thanks to Ziad and the Medivet team as you have allowed my cat to live another life!
Read on Google →I appreciate the fact that Medivet Hendon does not rush to make unnecessary appointments. The reception staff are trained to ask questions to ascertain whether or not you need to bring your pet. If you need an appointment, they will strive to find the first available. Upon arrival, they are friendly and accommodating. The vets are efficient and reliable. It's always wise to establish a relationship with the vet so they inform you before an procedures. of what they see as the best step. I like the Hendon practice as it has extensive diagnostic equipment, overnight wards with intensive care facilities, and always has several vets on duty, including senior practitioners for second opinions or assistance. There is parking available, and it's walking distance from the bus stop. Slightly longer from the underground but accessible by a short bus ride, so it's very accessible. The reception area is large and comfortable. If you want the best treatment in the north west area of London, don't hesitate to try Medivet Hendon. The vets are willing to write prescriptions for online medications. I don't think it's especially costly, but all private veterinary medicine seems costly. No disrespect to small practices, but Medivet Hendon has given me the best treatment and long term satisfaction and I have no complaints other than the fact that Medivet Hendon does not participate in the Cats Protection subsidised neutering programme. Other branches do, eg Medivet Harrow. With the overwhelming number of unwanted kittens being born and huge cost involved in neutering pets, especially female cats, I wish they would participate. All my cats are neutered, but for many people this is a huge expense which they keep putting off until it's too late, so I would ask Medivet Hendon to please consider offering subsidised spay and neuter for cats, even if it's limited to a few per month. Any would make a difference and prevent the disturbing number of unwanted kittens being born, abandoned or condemned to a life in a shelter.
Read on Google →The health of our 15 year old pet dog deteriorated dramatically over the holidays. She had a heart murmur since being a puppy and we needed to make the decision to let her rest. When she had another stroke at midnight we had to visit the 24hr Medivet in order to prevent her dying in a horrible way at home. The Medivet doctors are compassionate and professional and helped us a great deal in this most difficult of times.
