I’ve attended Vets for nine years with my dog the veterinarian named Emma extremely rude towards me. She does not care about the welfare of the dog. She does not care about the welfare of any animal. She should not be at the practice extremely disappointed with her approach for the welfare of any animal Extremely rude

I wondered why the price of a claw clip doubled overnight a few years back and did a bit of digging. Shires are now owned by a private equity firm, this means they will nickel & dime you for profit. We have since switched to a small independent vet and the prices are very nearly 50% lower. The only downside is that we have to chase our own insurance claims as this is how independents can keep costs low. I'm more than happy with that. Don't pay over the odds for your beloveds treatment, it's going the same way as US healthcare. Put a stop to it.

We as a family have been using shires for years, and what a fantastic practice it is! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs. The girls on reception, the nurses and the vets are all extremely polite, very friendly and put you at ease as soon as you walk in, nothing is to much trouble. All the staff are very professional, and genuinely care and show compassion to you're pets when needed. Garent treated our late staffie roxie with numerous eye conditions and he is just the best !! And we will forever be grateful to him for being there at the end. 5 STAR SERVICE ALROUND.
