I wanted to leave a review here to express my love, admiration and thanks to everyone at Leith Vets. My chihuahua became incredibly unwell and needed emergency dental surgery. From the moment Niamh at reception took my call, I felt comforted and like I was in the right place. They couldn't have been more empathetic regarding my financial situation. I had to fund raise some of this money and really pull together to make up the amount that was understandably needed to save my boy. Within 48 hours Chester was in surgery with Nichola, Cameron the anaesthetist and their amazing team. From the bottom of my heart I cannot recommend this practice more. I am so in awe of Nichola's experience and knowledge. They so clearly actually care for the animals and do their best every day. I will be forever greatful to you all and we look forward to seeing you for his check up! Love, Lora and Chester.

We took our Cocker Spaniel in this evening after some concerning behaviour made us believe he may have a grass seed in his ear. We saw Jessica who was absolutely amazing. We ended up having to get Rocket sedated to do the removal which we were anxious about as he is only 2 and had never been sedated however, Jessica made us feel so at ease. Everything was explained really clearly and she spent time answering all our questions. We were so relieved to get it sorted so quickly and get our sleepy boy home for some rest.

I couldn't speak more highly of Leith Vets. I have a nervous rescue dog who can get spooked easily, but every single member of staff takes their time with Jasper (my dog), and makes sure his trust and comfort are prioritised. Jess and Richard are both brilliant vets who have showed such patience and kindness to Jasper over the years. We were seen by the wonderful Cameron today, who spent so much time making sure Jasper was happy and comfortable before administering his vaccine, and it was a wonderfully positive experience. And as always, Petra is one of Jasper's favourite people to see in the practice! Thank you all, and everyone else in the practice, who makes it such a positive space for a nervous little dog!

We were with other vets and recently changed here. WE ARE SO HAPPY WE DID! Our first visit was simply a check-up to register our dog and join the health club. Today we had an emergency, we were able to book online, show up, and our dog got the care he needed right there (no faffing around, no "let's wait and see" nonsense). Staff are lovely, booking is a breeze, they are very thorough on the consultations and clearly LOVE animals. We did not feel rushed and all our questions were resolved before and after the procedure; we liked knowing which vet we were going to see, and being able to choose. The clinic is lovely, service is fab. 10/10 plus... we are supporting a local business!!!

We recently moved our 3 dogs to Leith Vets as it's much closer to us, and one of our dogs is epileptic so needs regular blood tests, medication orders and emergency visits. Leith Vets registered all three of them with no hassle and kept me updated with progress once complete. I was a bit anxious about changing vets for my epi dog mid way through a new course of epilepsy medication as he loved his old vets, but Jessica and the practice team were fantastic. Alvar historically has hated blood tests and getting his feet and legs touched, but the procedure was quick and no stress, plus he got extra meat paste tubes. He pulls me to go into Leith Vets now, even when we're just out on a walk. No regrets changing, and thanks so much for the care and support in our move!
