Normally, I take my old girl to Kirk's in Grantham, but she needed urgent treatment on a Saturday when they're closed. Upon phoneing the surgery she was given an almost immediate appointment. I found the receptionist to be most friendly and the vet to be both caring & thorough. I can highly recommend both surgeries, but I found this one to be a more pleasent & welcoming building.

Excellent service and never push for unnecessary tests etc. There's never any surprises on the bill and they even got the nurses to snip some of our cats tats out at no extra charge. We've used them for 10 years and have always been satisfied.

While visiting my parents, my 9 month red fox Labrador decided he wanted an earing aid for breakfast. He promptly swallowed the battery. I contacted Kirks Vets and they arranged for me to take him in straight away. From reception staff to vet, they were all excellent in dealing with me and Caleb and explained all that would happen and took their time. There was no rush at all. Thank you very much for the quick service. Caleb had his second charcoal paste this morning and is back to his usual, what can I find to steal mode again.❤️

Rude and unhelpful. Second time I’ve been let down by this Vets. 1) it took months and THOUSANDS of pounds for them to diagnose Giardia in my cat… the tried all the most expensive options prior to the most likely… even saying they should do a blood test before checking his poo? Then all he needed was a £20 medicine I could’ve got from Amazon but they cheekily charged me £100+. Dirtbags. They just try to claw every bit of money out of you they possibly can before helping your pet. 2) Yesterday I rang between 5-6pm saying my dog had gotten into some paracetamol, and I’ve never been so disgusted speaking to a place that is suppose to help you and your pet when you need them most, acting so rude and blasé. They ended up just saying there isn’t really anything that we can do for you, just go to another vet🤷‍♀️ After ingesting a toxin they just told me to just wait around till a clinic in Lincoln opens at 7 and go there… WHEN ALL ALONG THEY COULDVE HELPED ME. After waiting, crying and worrying for over an hour I got to the ‘out of hours clinic’ where he was weighed and asked the upper most limit of dosage he could’ve had and calculated he was fine. And didn’t need any treatment. Not only could MY vets (Kirk’s vets) have done that whilst they were still open during daytime hours it cost me and hour in fuel and £350 out of hour fee. Disgusting. I will not be using your vets again. Rude and have no empathy.
