Honestly cannot thank this vet practice for everything they have done for my horse Balou. Balou first came here with an irregular heart rhythm. that required cardioversion. or he would need to be retired or put to sleep. I was absolutely terrified. The thought of losing him was unbearable, and those moments were some of the darkest I’ve ever faced as an owner. The skill, calmness, and care shown by the vets during his cardioversion quite literally saved his life. I will never forget the relief, the tears, and the overwhelming gratitude when he came through it. After the cardioversion, Balou then went on to develop severe grade 4 gastric ulcers. Just when I thought we’d been through the worst, we were facing another battle. Once again, this team stepped in with compassion, understanding, and unwavering support. They listened to all of my worries, acted quickly, explained everything patiently, and never once made me feel like I was overreacting or asking too much. Throughout everything, they didn’t just treat Balou as a case they treated him as the much loved horse he is, and they treated me like someone who was hurting and scared. That kindness meant more to me than they’ll ever know. Thanks to their dedication, knowledge, and genuine care, Balou has come through a dangerous heart rhythm! severe ulcers. which are now all GONE!!!! Seeing him brighter, healthier, and more himself again is something I will never take for granted. Balou isn’t “just a horse” he is my safe place, and my reason to keep going on hard days. This team didn’t just save his life, they gave me my world back. I would recommend this vet practice to anyone without hesitation. They are truly exceptional at what they do, and I trust them completely with Balou. Thank you, from the very bottom of my heart.

Read on Google →Our (largely) retired horse was asked to give blood recently by KEH. The procedure was carried out calmly and efficiently so no sedation required and he chomped hay throughout. All the very best to the patient he's helped. And we all say thamk you for the flowers.
Read on Google →Katie and her team at Kent Equine Hospital have gone above and beyond to help keep my horses well. Recently our yearling had to have a small surgery which was handled with care and kindness, really helping to relieve some of the worry surrounding the procedure. Regular communication and clear advice and information has been given thru out. Katie has also been involved with our breeding program and her knowledge and advice has been invaluable. We are very fortunate to have an independent practice close by who also offer their own out of hours service. It is reassuring to know that the vets actually know us and our horses. I would highly recommend Kent Equine Hospital.
