I’m doing three star because although they helped they wouldn’t take my details or anything for my missing cat and the person on the phone sounded like she didn’t care at all .

My horse coliced a few months ago late at night and the call out doctor came out within 20 minutes and was very helpful, sympathetic and helpful! They super quickly started treatment once we went in and was so reassuring that they had the surgeons ready to go for when we needed them next day! Unfortunately my baby horse did not do well even after surgery, I will be forever grateful for the team that helped and cared for him those last days 😭❤️also they were very patient in terms of payment as surgery is not cheap but they didn't harass me to settle my account straight away.

Extremely disappointing experience at House & Jackson Blackmore. Following the shocking treatment, or rather, lack of treatment, at the clinic this morning, I will no longer be a client of this facility. We arrived promptly for our 11:15am appointment and were told at 11:25am that the vet was running about 10 minutes late. However, by 11:50am the vet finally appeared, walked straight past us to chat with someone outside and then brought in another dog. Despite the receptionist confirming that we were next, the vet completely disregarded us and went on to see the other patient. To make matters worse, the vet appeared visibly irritated and made it clear that we were an inconvenience, after the receptionist informed her that she “had one more.” Needless to say, at this point we walked out. This is wholly unprofessional conduct and not how a veterinary practice should operate. Dogs are often already anxious when visiting the vet; keeping one waiting for 35 minutes only to be pushed aside for how much longer is unacceptable. I would strongly caution others to think twice before trusting this clinic with their pets’ care.

I took my dog to see Thomas after hearing so many good recommendations, and I’m so glad I did. Sadly, my dog had to be put to sleep after a short illness, but I am incredibly grateful for the care and compassion we received here. Thomas and the team gave us extra precious months together through the right medications, and their kindness and support throughout meant so much. The reception staff were always friendly and understanding, making difficult visits a little easier. I couldn’t have asked for better care for my beloved dog. Thank you all for everything.
