  Mcghee was seriously ill with a cyst on his spleen, he needed an emergency operation. The care he was given was absolutely A1, we cannot thank the wonderful staff here, that cared for him enough. They had time to answer all our questions and made us feel that mcghee would be looked after to the best of their ability, which he was. I cannot recommend this vets enough

  After adopting my 3 month old kitten Piccolo, I decided on recommendation to register at Hoghton Village Vets and I am so glad that I did. Piccolo developed quite a nasty cold with the stresses of being abandoned on the streets and then the stresses of moving house so required urgent attention where the kind receptionist rapidly booked him in and the vet promptly diagnosing his condition and course of treatment. Piccolo was admitted into their care for IV antibiotics and drips and the vets kept me updated on his progress over the phone and arranged for a time to pick him up. The vet discussed Piccolo's prescription ans advised me on how to administer it properly and within days he started to come round and the brightness appeared back in his eyes.   I would highly recommend this friendly vet practice, all the staff are skilled, knowledgeable and caring. I took my Lhasa in for a lump she wasn't insured and I was given a full estimate and breakdown of the costs involved so I could make a decision, obviously chose have it removed and tested, results were back within 4 days, very impressed. I like that you are informed of the costs so you can make the right decisions for yourself. The lump was benign and she's recovering well, thanks to All the nurses and vets at Hoghton Village Vets.
