  I can’t recommend Hawthorn Vets in Henfield highly enough. Lucy is our vet and she is absolutely wonderful with my dog, Sookie. She is always kind, caring and incredibly thorough, and takes the time to explain everything clearly and answer any questions I have. It makes such a difference having a vet you genuinely trust, and I always feel that Sookie is in the very best hands with Lucy. She treats her with so much patience and compassion, and you can tell how much she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. The whole team at Hawthorn are friendly, professional and welcoming, and we’ve always had such a positive experience there. A huge thank you to Lucy and everyone at Hawthorn for taking such wonderful care of Sookie. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic veterinary practice.

  We needed our cat reviewed urgently and were able to get her seen extremely quickly. Highly recommend this vet practice! Fabian is an amazing vet—kind, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable.   Adam is the most caring, understanding and empathetic vet I have ever come across (and that is an high bar as without exception all the vets I have met at Hawthorn are pretty amazing !) He didn’t get irritated with my paranoia or tears and genuinely nothing was too much trouble. I never felt rushed but instead felt that Adam really understood Scooby’s issues, taking time to get to know him, getting on the floor with him when he was in too much pain to be lifted onto the table and genuinely wanted to make him better. We had a rough 10 days or so returning ever couple of days until the infection was under control. Thank you Adam and all the lovely nurses and reception staff who put up with me!

  Registered both our pets with Hawthorn Veterinary surgery recently. Absolutely delighted with the friendly and helpful service at all points from reception through to the vets. Everyone seems to love their vocation and give dedicated care to both pets and their owners. Super thorough.
