Was easy to get a same day appointment and the staff were kind and helpful with my elderly dog’s injury

I was looking after a small, much loved dog and gave it some raisins as a little treat. Something in the back of my mind made me double check and I found raisins could be very toxic. I got her straight up to Goddard and they induced vomiting. They were patient, kind and waited after working hours and even checked the vomit to make sure all the raising had come up and gave me a spare waterproof sheet in case the dog was sick on the way home. £180 bill which was the same as a Vet in Clapham was charging just for a consultation. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

Unfortunately I have to register my cat elsewhere, this place is an absolute sham of incompetency. Never in my life have I experienced such a lack of care and consideration. Each locum vet gives different/conflicting diagnoses and purposefully allows symptoms to progress in order to siphon more money out of you-- only when things progress to extreme levels that they make any attempts to intervene. By that point, your pets health has suffered and bills are sky high. Not to mention, the idea of not having permanent veterinary staff on site is a red flag in itself-- This keeps all anxious pets in a constant state of anxiety as consistent, trusting relationships with your pet cannot be built nor maintained. Communication amongst the team is lacking and it shows; booking appointments and making call backs to patients asking what said appointments are for is absolutely appalling behaviour and further proves their lack of care. There's also a tendency to blindside you with additional treatments, medications and varying products that were not discussed nor raised prior to appointments. Again, more blatant scheming and cash grabbing. Not only have they failed to cooperate with myself, they're actively ignoring contact from my insurance company, in order to prolong/worsen health conditions, consequently leading to more required treatment. If you genuinely love your pet and want the best care for them-- I'd implore you to look elsewhere.

We love having Michaela the vet and Ann-Marie at the practice, they are both very friendly, kind and caring and we have great faith in the treatment our cat has received. We would like to keep both permanently as it is so nice to have people who we can get to know a bit and who know our pets. So we hope that both are kept on as long as they want to stay!

We have been visiting the veterinarian for an extended period of time, and we have been extremely satisfied with Zeta's care for our dog, who experiences significant anxiety when visiting the veterinarian. However, our most recent visit last week was the most "disgusting, offensive" experience we have ever had. I will not provide stars if there are choices. If the staff attitude at Goddard does not improve, I would rather consult a different veterinarian. I value excellent customer service and expect to be treated with respect and professionalism when seeking medical care for my pet. It is important for me to feel confident in the expertise and care provided by the veterinary staff.
