I had the most amazing experience today with my very nervous dachshund Arthur. Since 2023, Arthur started being fearful of vets because of a very bad experience, and no vet had been able to even touch him. This new vet there, called Laura, was sooo patient, loving, kind with him, took her time to earn his trust with lots of play and treats, ending up to being able to do a full clinical examination AND a vaccination! Arthur did not notice it at all! She was so lovely and proved all other vets wrong. There are always positive reinforcement options, you just have to care just a little bit. Thank you so much Laura!!!

Avoid this company like the plague, they will try and tell you your dog needs surgery for an anal glad infection even before offering antibiotics that I had to ask to try first which then sorted my dog. They also tried to commit insurance fraud by lying to my insurance company by saying my dog was in a critical condition when insurance refused to cover excess treatments that were not needed, they then advised they got it wrong on the paperwork leaving me with a near £400 extra to cover!!! im sure that would work the same way in me forgetting to disclose any points on my car insurance and then getting caught and saying sorry I got it wrong!!! Do not trust them!!!!

My dog had been visiting Brislington Vets every month for many years to manage his allergies, as well as several other health challenges along the way. Sadly, at our most recent visit, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to him. I cannot thank the team enough for the care and dedication they showed him throughout his life. He was always treated with warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness, and that meant the world to us. We are especially grateful for how compassionately we were supported during our final visit. The vets and reception team handled such a devastating moment with sensitivity and understanding, making an incredibly difficult time feel as gentle as it possibly could. A special thank you to Julia on reception, whom we’ve come to know over the years. Her kindness on the night we said goodbye, and again when we collected his ashes, will never be forgotten.
