Today been with my Jack russell (drama queen) :D in Vets for pets, Castleford. The best experience from nurse, Catherine, so patience and kind. And reception same! Will come back soon here. Thank you team!

The receptionist is unaware of why someone is back in the waiting room despite having had the consultation and being the only person there. Shouting across the clinic are you waiting to pay as I didn’t know you were waiting to pay. I was the only person in the practice and I’m sure as other vets do they sends notes thru to reception so they can charge you accordingly. Surely this is part of your client care to know why they are sat there. So in that case instead of leaving me sat there why not ask me straight away! Not only that when my little dog was put to sleep a little while ago now the same receptionist was on shift it was very loud in the reception area clearly not taking into account someone was saying goodbye to their beloved pet it’s very echoey in their so I have recently suggested leaving battery operated candles which I was told they do have them but only bring them out when they know that’s what’s happening so why not keep them out all the time would make more sense with a little sign when the candles are lit stating someone is saying goodbye and to be respectful of that and keep noise to a minimum. The same receptionist is also very rude and unhelpful when speaking on the phone. Sorry vets 4 pets I think this practice is disappointing. Customers should feel valued.

The dark haired receptionist is absolutely appalling, Ill mannered, rude. I've recently rescued a dog and her condition was bad so I took her to vets 4 pets Castleford, which they read her micro chip. I was then told that they couldn't treat her until it was changed into my name. I told the receptionist that all my other 4 dogs chip wasn't in my name so she said that they couldn't treat those either. The next day I received 4 different emails telling me to change my dogs chips. I've had my dogs for years and been to several vets in that time but I have never been treated like a bad owner, surely the dogs welfare comes before a chip? Im absolutely disgusted with this woman.
