  • Where do I start with this review. We got a puppy 15 years ago and chose Vest for Pets on Horbury Road in Wakefield to look after Marley. They were fantastic with him every time we took him. Unfortunately we had to put him to sleep a few weeks ago and the staff were amazing. We've now received his ashes in a lovely casket. We can't thank the staff enough for the last 15 years of loving care for Marley

Needed to take my daughter"s dog on short notice but this involved getting his records moved over from their home surgery. The admin staff couldn't have been more helpful or kind and the vet himself was very attentive, efficient amd knowledgeable. Result: one happy dog and one relieved dog grandparent!

I have registered with Vets4Pets Wakefield Horbury road since we got our dog 3 years ago and everything was fine no issues till I had my last experience. My dog was attacked by other dog and I took my cocapoo to vets straight after as her ear was bleeding becouse of damage done . It was 16:45 just before closing. Vet took as in to office and told that he can't do anything as it closing time and we need to go to Vets4Pets 24 hour hospital for inspection of damage and possibly operation ( all he said was I can't do anything we are closing here is adress where you need to go ). So I took my dog straight to vets4pets 24 hour clinic Birstall ( they were absolutely fabulous with service provided) . Following day lady from reception phoned my up saying I own 51£ for consultation that's never happened. Unfortunately I have to go pay it for service I have never recived. Very disappointed..... When I got in following morning and asked for what sort of consultation I have to pay the answer was you gone in to cabinet so you have to pay..... I was shocked with this sort of rip off.... 😔😔. Just to finish it off consultation in Birstal cost 25£ at same Vets4pets.

  • Our pets are new to vets4pets and right from the initial telephone call to make appointments for vaccinations and spaying the staff were amazing. Julie with the dark hair and the young lady with dark hair and glasses are so professional, friendly and polite. The nursing staff are polite, friendly and very informative. All staff very supportive. My daughter is autistic and I asked staff to reassure her about the spaying operations that her kittens were having. They were very reassuring as they could see my daughter was visibly upset. Very happy with their services. This is the only vets in the area that offer the kitten pack too, which saves ££££, includes vaccinations, health check, microchip, 3 months of flea and worm treatment.
